"Each level is procedurally generated, so you’ll never know what to expect."
Oh lord... what am i in for... i feel so lost and disoriented. i just dont know what to expect, will the basement spawn in the 50% chance location or the other 50% chance location?!
How will I ever escape the killer? If the map can have a vault in point A and an open wall on point B or the complete opposite?! The terror *consumes* me.
How will i ever get out of this alive, when i won't even know where the generators i need to repair are! will they be in dev's handpicked position 1, 2, or 3? or maybe a completely random and unexpected position, like on top of dead dawg saloon and perhaps even the gallows???
Binding of isaac and minecraft could NEVER.
Bonus: "The procedural levels and real human reactions to pure horror makes each game session an unexpected scenario. You will never be able to tell how it’s going to turn out."

there are perks and items to help you find gens if you are new, and big tall lights flashing above them

I have a small hunch the post is supposed to be sarcastic

Thank you! i am now ready to face the diverse and unique gameplay experiences dbd has to offer. it felt a little overwhelming at first, what with all games having such distinctive set ups and turning out in pretty much an infinite number of outcomes, thanks to the players' agency.

Its called the Poe's Law.

For completely new players without map awareness this actually is not as easy and can be quite disorienting…
and I think it used to have greater impact on pallet spawns but was changed due to unfair setups etc.

I remember a bug were you saw all possible generator locations at the same time light up. Pretty interesting, but in essence its just small variations of the same places.

I’ve seen posts before complaining about things being too random or swingy in the map generation, I think this is the first time I’ve seen a snarky post about maps not being random enough. Go figure. 🤷♂️
