Anyone else struggling with the “Snuff Boon” interaction?
Maybe it’s because I play on console, but anytime I try to snuff a boon I have to waste far too much time making multiple micro-adjustments just to get the interaction to appear.
Take a step backward, look left, step forward, side-step. The interaction will flicker and then disappear most of the time. If I just spam the control then I’ll just start the snuff, end it, and lose the interaction before I realize it was beginning!
All in all, very frustrating!

Yeah happens to me too but remember boons are fine cause it only takes 0.5 seconds to snuff!

Oh its just how things are even on PC, you know like that "R" key to drop a surv, gotta mash it mash it, hold it, hit it three more times, then maybe you drop em.
Imagine if the "E" key for Deadhard responded like the killers Snuff/Drop ....

It's very fiddly. I have no idea why they changed it from the easy solution they had for a minute.

Yes you can't be too close for too far or at an angle sometimes. Oddly sensitive.

Yep, happens to me almost every time I try to snuff a boon totem. I usually end up spending way more than 0.5 seconds snuffing it. But it’s OK because “bOon ToTEms ARe fINe”. Dropping survivors is also really buggy and has caused survivors to escape from me while being carried on many occasions. Of course, there are no bugs with Dead Hard and it works perfectly every time.

Remember when Decisive Strike was bugged and the devs fixed it immediately but there are a million Iron Will bugs that favor the survivor that never get fixed and we had to go an entire weekend with the Object of Obsession wallhacking

I rarely have problem dropping survivor and snuffing totems but pressing dead hard is more problem it does not always response on console and also pallets don't respond sometimes. It can go both ways but those are bigger problems as they mean death as survivor but as killer usually it's not problem unless you happen to be extremely unlucky.

The activation zone for that interaction is insanely tiny, unless you get it pixel perfect right you just won't get the prompt. I wish they fixed it along with Trapper trap placements.
