The nerf is going to be adding additional time to the exhaustion timer because the devs don't play high MMR killer, they only main survivor

I don't think DH can be nerfed in balanced way -> fair, but still valid.
They would be better to go with complete rework.

They should buff Dead Hard instead.

Balance Team: Our data shows dead hard is used in 99.99999% of matches. We have determined it's under performing and will be buffed. You can now use it twice. One in each health state.

because if they did that would get instant backlash, harder backlash than 4 survivors going up stairs with Bubba revving his chainsaw at the top going down
They play it casually probably, because why wouldn't you play the game you develop?

Watch them make Dead Hard a fake out. You press E and it activates for a set time, instead of the dodge effect for Distance and invulnerability you actually get hit and put into the dying state as you would if you miss timed or didn't have DH at all and the way DH would work is you can set yourself free as if you used Unbreakable if killer left you on the ground or you can use it as DS if killer decides to pick you up.
This would be a terrifying version of DH if you ask me. But for a company that launched Circle of Healing as it did i can actually expect DH to get buffed.

I seriously doubt it'll be nerfed, if they do decide to change it then it's going to be fully reworked since Dead Hard is just a really difficult perk to balance. I think it's going to get the same treatment old ruin got - along with the same backlash.

What backlash? If they properly rework it the only backlash is going to be the Dead Hard abusers that probably wouldn't last long in chase without it.

I just imagine a lot of people will get mad since it's the most used survivor perk - and most used perk in general. I really doubt there won't be at least a very vocal minority who really won't be happy with the change. DBD Twitter especially will whine for the next couple months.

If they would just revert the animation on dead hard it would be fine because it didn't give you so much distance so you couldn't use it to run through a pallet and then dead hard all the way across a jungle gym tile to the window you'd have to get closer to make it work leaving yourself more vulnerable, there's a reason that before the animation nobody complained about distance

Don't know, but I doubt the devs are playing the game, even casually.
At most, I expect them to play a Killer game once per month only going for 4 BBQ Stacks and then going AFK in the corner or something

Once DH is nerfed people will just move on to the next thing to ######### about, its always been like that and it will never change

I think the easy "Fix" would be to remove the dash, that's the gripe most killers have with the perk.
You can keep your free hit which still works with the theme of being "Hard" but you can't act like you're in the world tag championship.

Unless you get some insanely long wipe animation i dont see how it would be beneficial for anybody to use a perk that makes killer miss attack once.

yes but without the distance you will just get hit again right away. unless you are literally in the middle of the pallet or infront of the window ready to vault.

If the distance you gain by invalidating the hit is so big that its already too big of an issue. Why would dashing 1-2m forward be that big of a deal?
