Floods of Rage is kinda broken on Nurse ngl
My favourite Nurse is a wallhack Nurse, I will always run i am all ears nurses bitter murmur bbq and etc over slowdowns and I just have to say I am in love with this perk
I did not bother to unlock Sadako's perks until recently but ever since I got this on Nurse I am running it with almst every matxh being 4k
My new favourite build is this perk, bbq, lethal and haunted grounds for some surprise downs.
At no point can survivors hide from me and I am constatly getting some blink hits I should not be getting.
I honestly thought this will mostly be used by Huntress mains who can snipe you across the map but wow its honestly op on Sally and actually fun to use since I am always on someone and after first 1-2 gens people are just struggling to keep up.
I know community here is currently on the anti-Nurse campaign but fellow Nurse mains I cannot recommend this perk more :D

Try it with MYC. It kinda feels unfair on Nurse.
5 -
Yeah that's the result of a character designed to break the rules of its own game.
37 -
MYC + floods is completely unfair on her lol.
8 -
Which game? 4 overpowered survivors on voice comms against a Killer? talk about rules.
8 -
As far as I know, devs have not added voice chat to DBD yet. But they did design Nurse.
10 -
When you can basically teleport to any survivor whose location you know within 20 meters in like 3 seconds and down them, the strongest perks in the game become detection perks. First it was Infectious Fright, then I'm All Ears, now Floods.
Still think I'm All Ears is the top Nurse perk in the game, but haven't gotten to try Floods yet

-
Even mid-tier perks like Mindbreaker or perks that are not very good on every other killer are pretty busted on Nurse.
Strange, that.
5 -
You can say that about most perks on nurse. The problem is nurse herself
7 -
Now do it basekit with no addons.
0 -
I use it. Love it. What surprises me is that I have only seen a few survivors catch on that I'm using it. I always check those players for distortion at the end :(. I don't feel it's OP though. It rewards quick hooks. Quick hooks imply you're already winning.
If they are giving you max value by doing silly unhooks than yeah, it will only make the survivors collapse faster.
And the games I lose I can clearly see that I did not get value out of it.
0 -
okay and? Even if we pretend that basekit Nurse cannot be countered since she plays her own game and that you automatically win every single match when you play with her and it certainly does not require for you to actually hit your blinks and deal with Dead Hard, COH and all the survivor meta she is still one killer out of 28 when most of the others realistically cannot ever win if they get a large map and optimal team which is far more BS than being able to teleport trough walls
This narrative that Nurse is broken while the entire game is is so tiring, when Devs also designed maps like eyre of the crows and rpd in the same game that you have killers like Trapper, Sadako and etc.
She and I guess Blight to an extent are the only killers that can deal with good teams while also playing well and not making mistakes because you are breaking the rules of the game that are BS to begin with
3 -
It's an anti-tunneling perk, because it doesn't show the aura of the unhooked survivor. It also gets zero value if the killer is face camping. Perks like these are good for the game.
0 -
? What does that even mean, nurse with no add-ons is already strong enough
The add-ons (certain) just make her extremely broken (edit: and certain perks combinations)
2 -
There's a lot of perks and builds that are broken on Nurse.
You've got:
- Agitation and Starstruck
- New locker perk (can't remember it's name).
- Floods of Rage
There's many more I'm not thinking about. Anything that gives instadown or information is stupid on her.
8 -
Most perks are broken on her it's ain't a surprise just run : Agitation + Starstruck + Thrilling Tremors and Floods of Rage for a guaranteed 4k every game I literally got bored of playing this overpowered killer.
You don't need any slowdowns if you're good at Nurse and you know what you're doing.
10 -
Well, no. You omitted quite a bit of important facts in your discourse. I reminded you of the same.
What you are doing there is trying to distract the reality exposed. Given you have no arguments whatsoever.
0 -
That's the point, the addons is what make nurse as good as she is.
People love to use the term broken alot. When in reality if it was broken you would win every game and everyone could do it which isnt the case.
Nurse with addons is very strong, not broken.
1 -
Your argument is still irrelevant to the actual topic.
3 -
4-man Discord SWF and Nurse both are rules-breaking.
0 -
Not counting Bamboozle, what perk isnt broken on Nurse anyway?
0 -
The imbalance occurs when the killer has unlimited uses of these perks when survivors have no way to counterplay them. Distortion is the closest thing but it is extremely limited to a tiny amount of finite uses.
Killers are way too overpowered to have so many aura perks in a hide and seek game with virtually no activation requirements. Hooking survivors are inevitable. These benefits need to be toned down to reasonable levels.
Survivors are not massively rewarded for completing a gen.
2 -
Imagine evaluating everything in a vaccum. Sorry this is a game with two sides if balance is the desired outcome. Openingly demanding one side recieves nerfs while the other maintain there advantage carefree is ridiclous. Here a nuanced solution why not nerf both or raise the power level of both sides to compensate for each other unfair advantage.
Give solos a ping system and icons to indicate what there doing to even the swf advantage and give the weaker killers ie the stealth ones more nuanced tools to evade detection or increased lethality. There is a world where both survivors and killers get new exciting toys and balance chamges without having patches that annoy one side.
Whataboutism needs to die in a hole the concept is an excuse perputuate imbalance patches that just focus on railing one side creating uneven matchmaking.

EVERYTHING is broken on Nurse cause the killer is broken by itself!
2 -
Ok but where did I ever say that the the other side is flawless without any issues whatsoever? The problem with solo queue vs SWF vs Killer is an entirely different beast from Nurse in her entirety. Bringing the former up in a discussion about the latter is pointless and distracting.
One thing at a time.
5 -
No you are wrong. You don´t decide whether an argument makes sense without offering one to counter it.
0 -
So, according to you:
- OP makes a thread about FoR Nurse being broken
- Your "counter argument" is a whataboutism about SWF
- OP isn't allowed to say this is irrelevant to their thread and their counter argument of "this is a whataboutism" is invalid
- You now control the rules of the thread and they have to offer a real counter argument to your counter argument
This is silly. Where does it go from there? A counter-counter argument? I'm seriously confused at where this is going.
7 -
Let me clarify that for you.
- I did no whataboutism. That is only on your mind.
- OP makes a comment of Nurse being broken because it´s unfair and breaks some imaginary rules that Survivors have that Killers can only M1 and loop a rock for 5 min.
- I made the clarification that Nurse does not break anything but Survive With Friends using Voice Communications (aka Discord) does. Because not only gives an unfair advantage, it neutralizes killers such as the Trapper entirely.
So yes, Nurse is not a toy that Survivors can abuse that easily (they still can, just not that easily as with the Trapper). The Nurse is a base killer not easy to master at all, works as intended. And SWF is a much bigger problem for the game rules than Nurse is.
Also, new players can only pick base killers without paying and I don´t see many Nurses doing 4K regularly but I bet you can Adept several survivors with no issues within a week. Try that with Nurse.
Enough said.
4 -
Not breaking any rules. She was designed to phase through terrain. You can still use normal tactics just not brain dead pallet loops.
2 -
That’s funny this “hide and seek” game you mention.
Survivors only play hide and seek at low MMR when they are scared, hide and seek doesn’t exist at high MMR because survivors know they can abuse loops, get hit, save dead hard and when they lose a loop they’ve got dead hard to get them to another loop.
At my MMR i get swarms of survivors running at me and due to that starstruck has become a permanent perk for me because of that.
0 -
I would like to see you doing that in 3s consistently. Do you have some footage so we can get impressed of your skills with such an "easy " Killer that is Nurse?
No offense, but it does not really sound like you played Nurse much. Not in high MMR.
0 -
Thanks, I needed a laugh

So what priority one hit nurse with another nerf before failling to address swf advantages and solo frustrations.
Hell imagine making changes to solo queue after making these changes and then having to go back and undo the stupid decisions you made because some whataboutism got your god damn prioirties messed up.
Nurse has been continously stated to be balanced in a swf enviroment. Solo queue is consistently descibed as painfully frustrating due to a lack of communication. Its called future planning.
Focusing the conversation on a decision that dosent account for future changes or worse wasting time dealing with a non issue long term while actual god damn issues get sidelined is incompetence. Which is worsened when you have to go back and undo dumb decisions made by narrow trains of thought.

I didn't say nurse is easy. I did say you can down anyone within 20 meters in 3 seconds, not knowing this was a controversial statement. In light of your comment I should elaborate:
- No, I personally cannot do so consistently against a survivor who is juking me
- No, I actually haven't played much nurse in high MMR. I haven't played much Nurse since MMR was added, only like 400 of my 2800 hours are in the past 2 years.
- My point isn't how OP nurse is, my point is how strong aura reading is on her.
- Every time I've played Nurse, when a survivor has triggered I'm All Ears via a window and ran out of LOS, I've hit them using the perk. Except for times when they used Dead Hard. Still think All Ears is the best Nurse perk, unless you're gonna argue that game delay perks are better in which case go ahead.
To revise:
When you can teleport to any survivor within 20 meters behind a wall, whose aura you can see but who doesn't see you, unless they have Dead Hard as a get out of jail free card, unless they're the omegabrain top 0.2% of survivors, and hit them in 3-5 seconds, the strongest perks in the game become detection/aura reading perks.
None taken.

Remind us all which killer you main again?
0 -
Agitation? why on Earth. If survivors are dummies that rush to the Killer while you carry a survivor that has nothing to do with Nurse.
0 -
Survivors don't rush to the killer. A smart Nurse usually will bring Infectious Fright and use it to locate if survivors are close to her or not. If they aren't she'll move to areas closer to gens to expose survivors near them.
Agitation and Starstruck is extremely strong on good Nurses.

Well not the best Killer by any means she has some of the best perks in the game. Well when combined with others.
0 -
Won't help you to get good at the game. ;)
