Console VS PC Players
I am wondering, are there equal good players on both sides or is the common myth that console players are not as good as pc players (regarding dbd) true?
Are there Rank1 (skillwise) Console Killers/Survivors?

There are top tier killer mains who use m&k for killer and controller for surv, console or pc doesnt matter skill is skill, I would never use controller for killer though

I've been schooled many times by console squads. Very strong players on all platforms. Just as all platforms equally have as many potatoes.

The only thing that hurts console players are performance issues from poor optimization and limitations on controller that aren't there for m&k. It has nothing to do with who is/isn't more skilled.

I have played with moronic console players who have no idea what they're doing. I have played with moronic PC players who have no idea what they're doing. I have played with Godlike console players who makes their opponent look silly. I have played with Godlike PC players who makes their opponent look silly. I have played with good console players who were competent enough at the game. I have played with good PC players who were competent enough at the game.
Really the only drawback the console has that PC doesn't is that aiming hatchets/knives is a pain in the ass but even then, once you've done it enough times and have it down, there's really no difference between the two. I suppose a few little things that are a little harder on console (like Boil Over is hell on the console and a mild inconvenience on PC based on what I've heard from PC Players) but overall in terms of skill, there are skillful players on both sides and awful players on both sides.
This whole "PC vs Console" player "debate" is stupid.

Is there any advantage playing survivor on PC compared to console?

Filters and the game doesn't freeze every few seconds,

As far as I can tell, there is no discernable skill difference.
Although, there are some small differences I have noticed over the years.

I don't think this is an issue on series x or ps5

You'd be surprised.
Haddonfield and Garden of Pain stutter a lot.

I normally don't do this but per a one time request can we get another Holly picture? 🙂

I wouldn't know really. I'm a PC player but I bought a nice controller for when I play survivor.

Only because BHVR game out multiple codes the other day so I can count that as multiple pics
New picture fresh off the press

No they’re equally good. I play everything with a controller and I’m doing good.

I agree with BVHR .....Consolers are scum and don't even deserve to be allowed to talk!
Keep Consolers the 2nd class citizens BVHR deem them to be!

A platform won't make anyone a better player, in the case of PC it just makes the experience a little nicer due to optimization and sensitivity differences but in reality somewhere out there are people who are playing on some jank toaster PC that runs the game worse than a console because it doesn't meet the specs, at the end of the day specs don't give you more skill though and I could have the world's greatest PC and still die to a Nintendo switch killer if theyre more skilled than me

I’m a console player and it’s just a weird experience. Like my most hated people are Twitch Streamers, because they are very toxic. I mainly find them as PC players, but Xbox players are almost the same.
skill wise? The same.
toxic wise? I’m sure it’s PC because there are more of them, but not all of them. It’s just all dependent. I actually judge more on the character being used.

The frames and optimization make a moderate difference when playing killer and a bit when playing surv, especially on the older consoles like I am.
Skill and experience should still determine the outcome of matches though.

Besides lag and poor performance on older Gens, none
Console players have to play a lot more of skill shot Killers to be as good though, due to Keyboard and Mouse being much easier for exact precision aiming

I haven't have any freezing and game works smoothly. But I play on xbox series S.

I do well with controller but M&K would be better agains't 360s. Im not able to do 180s as oni but I think that was exploit anyway on pc.

So console needs aim assist?

The game already has an aim assist on both platforms, and frankly a very poor one at that.
For M2 skill shot Killers like Huntress, Trickster, Nemesis, Deathslinger, etc, what they need is just refined controls and sensitivity options for aiming specifically.
I have played shooters on Xbox that have VERY nice control, such as Killing Floor 2. So it is 100% possible.
