I think multiple perks are bugged for me.
I am preeeeeety frustarted right now. Both pop and opression perks seem to not work.
With pop i hook someone and go to a generator within the time frame of 30 seconds and kick it and you dont get that little explosion animation for the regression. same with oppression. It works with ruin if someone lets go, you get that little sparking animation but why do neither of these perks work at all?
restarting the game doesnt fix it and is very annoying as its limiting some different builds i am trying to play around with.
Is there something i am missing here?

You make it sound like just the animation is missing but are you saying the gen isn't losing progress either? Because I've gone against killers using Pop and it definitely works

when a gen is regressing you should have that inistial flash and then sparks on the generator. this does not happen for me and i know it should due to gameplay i see where people use it. I dont have time to sit and watch a gen to see if it regresses. but I get zero feedback on either of those perks that it is regressing anythging. where as ruin does.

i dont have screen recording software but i just had another game, tried over and over. Hook a survivor, pop lights up with the red bar filling. I go to as gen with progress. kick it, no flash, no sparks, no instant regression. same with oppression.
Jolt and ruin work though. Very annoying

When using Pop Goes the Weasel you have to look at the pistons. 1 piston are 25% of the Gen, so if one of them stops working, this means that PGTW works.
From my perspective as a Survivor (I dont run PGTW as Killer), it works fine. I also got hit by Oppression as Survivor since the Patch.

ok, and i can confirm it doesnt work for me. Zero instamnt regression. No flash animation which i know is supposed to occur and no sparks to indicate regression either. Even on gens that barely have anything on it, a pop kick should make it go silent. it does not.

Just tried it. PGTW worked perfectly fine, one piston stopped moving completely and another one was going slower. So I kicked away 25% of Progress.
So you might want to start a Bug Report and give more information than in this Thread. Maybe it is bugged on some Killers, on Wraith it works totally fine.

i dont have thousands of hours and dont have every perk unlocked for every killer. Does not work for me on clown and oppresion didnt work on wraith or whatever killer i had tried it on.

One thing...please make sure that you're holding down the key for the full animation of breaking a generator to play out.

woooooooooooooooow ok yea thats exactly it. i didnt realise i had to hold it down the whole time, i always let go once i started to kick. I just tried a match where i held it the whole time and pop activated. i feel very dumb

no need to feel dumb! It's a pretty common mistake to make, hence I could point it out instantly - as I've answered this question so many times.
At least now you know, and you can regress generators at your leisure! Have fun!

Don't feel dumb, you've learned something and to be honest, full points for putting up your hand and saying "I made a mistake" rather than just going silent or trying to blame someone/something else.
Honestly admitting an error is a good thing, wish more people would do it!
