Don’t worry about wasting your frenzy, you’ll have it all the time.
Thana is good, Ruin is great. Also make sure to bodyblock windows and pallets (prioritize windows more) when you come out of frenzy.

This might sound stupid, but actually use Feral Frenzy. There are basically no situations where you want to hit a healthy survivor with a basic attack, you should always use Frenzy if you have it charged. The amount of Legions I see hitting a healthy survivor with an m1 hurts.
Also, if someone's already injured and you're having major trouble catching them, use Feral Frenzy on them and find someone else with Killer Instinct. People think that Frenzy has no use on injured survivors, but it's still quite useful for the slowdown and information it gives.
As for perks, I'd make sure to have a couple of chase perks in your build. People tend to stack slowdowns on Legion which is massively overkill (and relatively lame). Deep Wound has you covered in that area for the most part. Having perks that help you secure the injured m1 hit cover Legion's weakness very well.
You generally want to avoid perks that give Mangled, Broken, Oblivious or Exposed. Mangled can work against you by discouraging healing, which is something you generally want survivors to be doing as a Legion (that said, if they do decide to heal, it'll make it take longer, which is good). Broken physically prevents healing altogether, which isn't good, but can be nice with a certain gimmick in mind (like Blood Echo or something). Oblivious makes survivors stop showing up on Killer Instinct, as they are considered to be outside the Terror Radius. Exposed is just redundant, Legion is a killer that can make people injured relatively easily, people will be one-shot for most of the game anyway.
That's not to say you should never run perks that give those status effects if you have a specific build or idea in mind, it's just that those status effects generally have drawbacks in regards to Legion.
Hope this advice helps.

Hit someone with Frenzy, then run around the house and come right back to them and they are right there mending for you. Fake the run away.
And likewise, if you frenzy one and dont hear killer instinct proc and they start mending in your face, cancel frenzy and down them.

Ok I got it

Oblivious + Mend Aura read
Pills + 0.3 speed on hit
Fuming + Filthy Blade
Those addon combos are quite fun to play with.

Hit survivors as possible as you can with frenzy, do not scare to lose frenzy. It has not long cooldown.
If next survivor is far from you, cancel your power and chase closest survivor to you.
You are really fast when you use frenzy. So you can use your power to go next vault. Block it, so survivor can not jump. Do not forget to cancel your power btw while blocking.
Sometimes you can bait survivors. Act like you are leaving them after freny hit but cancel your power and back to chase them. You can catch them unguard.

I just run tru3's build since the rework.
Bamboozle, spirit fury, enduring, corrupt. Julie's mixtape and iri button.
It's fun not being cucked by loops as m1 and you eat through pallets. But gens can still go even with shorter chases since you have no gen defence after corrupt ends.

A very effective Build with Legion is: Scourge Hook: Pain Resonence / Deadmans Switch / BBQ / Thana. And Addons you can use are Fuming Mixtape and the Iri Button. That way you have full slowdown and also Chase Potential thanks to Iri Button. It is a bit Overkill though, so only run it if you want to really win.
Some Fun ideas are Pallet Trauma Legion from Tatariu: Spirit Fury, Enduring + Iri Button, Julies Mixtape Then Bamboozle for Windows and any Gen slowdown Perk you like, or just BBQ for extra points. You eat thru Pallets and Block Windows.
My normal Build is BBQ, Bamboozle, Thana and some other Perk that i feel like using at the Moment. Most of the times together with Pills and Mural Sketch for the easy 5th Hit or Mural Sketch + Mischief List for fast and fun Frenzys.
The Legion is a great Killer when it comes to Perks. You can try out many different Build and will probably have fun with them. One of the reasons i Main them :D

This is by far the best Tipp. couldnt have said it better.

Dont bother too much stabbing people. You get your time investment back from mending but I see people, even good ones like Otz give up free downs for Frenzy. Dont be afraid to just m1 people

@Tatariu Hope you don't mind the tag here, but as our resident Legion main (and very knowledgeable about Legion in general) I figured you're one of the best to give advice on this killer.

I'd use Lethal Pursuer over Corrupt Intervention. Tells you exactly where you need to go and who to target for the start of your first frenzy and in which direction to you need to approach from to herd that/those survivors toward the others.
A 5 Hit Frenzy combo at the very start of the match has a good chance of making someone D/C.

I'm a Myers main, but I also play a lot of Legion.
I recommend Thanataphobia/Hex: Ruin/Hex: Undying/Hex: Pentimento.
Most people won't heal against Legion under normal circumstances, but Thana will cause them to do so, especially in combination with the aforementioned perks, and if they don't, you're looking at anywhere from a 0-50% gen slowdown, depending on how many survivors are injured and whether or not Pentimento is active. If they do heal, that's extra slowdown, but usually, if you're facing a solo queue team, half the team will want to heal, and half won't, so you get both healing slowdown and gen repair slowdown.
The Ruin/Undying combo needs no introduction. It's great on every killer. Combined with Pentimento, it means that the survivors are screwed by 200% auto gen regression if they don't go totem hunting and 30% extra gen slowdown plus however long it takes to fins and cleanse two totems multiple times if they do decide to go totem hunting.
It's a win-win build, and survivors hate it. I was getting consistent 4Ks on survivor-sided maps before Legion's buff, and with some of his new addons, it's even better (I recommend the one that inflicts mangled and the one that keep gens auto-regressing even after Ruin is cleansed).
