    I assume you have to get at least that much to get the rewards. idk tho

    From what it looks like, you cannot complete the challenge until the Community one is done.

    I think it's pretty bad design but they would ofc lock the only cool skin (Dredge) behind tedious objectives for and call it a "community event".

    AFAIK, it's this. You need to earn 40 to get the reward (no freeloading!) but you can contribute endlessly.

    Yeah it's the above, i've completed the personal contribution and no reward, so you gotta wait. Managed to get the other Dredge challenge quite fast in comparison, so probably more worthwhile focusing on the bottom half of challenges after the contribution.
