Distortion is so close to being strong

Aura perks are super common nowadays. BBQ, Darkness Revealed, Floods of Rage, Nurse's Calling, Undying and Lethal Pursuer are all pretty widely used.

The main issue that Distortion has always had is that it doesn't protect teammates during Co-op action. If I'm working on a generator with another survivor or healing another survivor, it doesn't help me to be unseen because the Killer can see the other person.

If the Devs can fix this issue, I would easily run it in most of my builds. Distortion has mad potential to give you info and remove some of the Killer's info

    Make it so that others 4 meters from you are also hidden when it triggers. Now it helps during co-op actions.

    They need to add a way to earn tokens in a match. 4 is just not enough to justify running it.

    I think four tokens will be much more impactful when your tokens aren't wasted by another Survivor being nearby and giving you away regardless of the perk. It usually happens at least once per game right now sometimes even more

    If it had a way to regenerate tokens the perk would be absolutely amazing

    Honestly it just got powercrept by shadowstep. Why only have 4 tokens when you can lose aura inside a 24 meter radius.

    Idk. As hopeful as it sounds I def think there needs to be a way to earn them back. Especially with the amount of aura reading perks there are in the game rn.

    Oh boy, this is going to sound like an unpopular opinion - But I think it's too strong to get anymore buffs. I know, it's no BIG SIX meta perk, but lordy does it do what it's supposed to well:

    • Start of a game happens: Distortion user, "Team, he has lethal.", First hook, "Team, he has BBQ.", Distortion can lead to confirming all 4 killer's perks and that is such CRUCIAL information in a hard match
    • Solo a Gen and just keep on keeping on, losing no precious time in a locker
    • Immune to I'm all Ears and other aura perk killer chicanery

    It's really damn strong.

    I've always that that it should either not have a token system or if it does, have it protect those around you.

    That, and it needs at least two more tokens to be decent- imo.
