sweat during the event complaints
so idk why people think killers camping running strong sweaty builds is bad. lets be real, if the survivors are playing for points that means they arent being stupid giving you easy downs, they are actually doing objectives and their objective means the killer loses. its a 50 50, survs will play the cakes and try their best to win because survivor is harder to get max points and because people are sweating the killer has to sweat to get his points. there is nothing wrong with wanting to win, if a survivor team or even a bunch of solos all bring some cake... ill mercilessly kill them even if 5 gens are left if they let me kill them i will. same with if a killer lets survivors win, the survivors will win. i guarantee most survivors wont wipe the floor with the killer and then let the killer farm. why do you expect killers to not just destroy you to the best of their ability? lets be real neither side just goes easy very often. ive given plenty of bad killers free kills because matchmaking screwed them over and i let certain adorable survivors live, but thats the extent of it. not everyone wants to play for points and thats ok. its not toxic to try and win even with an event

Whether the chicken or the egg came first, remind oneself that the question is completely useless, that everyone sucks and just play how you want to play so we can all stop goddamn complaining already.

My policy has become:
- Go in hard from the get go.
- Establish control of the game, generally by getting everyone on their death hooks (yeah, I did a personal challenge earlier this year that became a habit) or just kill someone.
- Once I've got control of the game, I can then ease up if I want to.
But, unless they are being butts, I do like it when survivors end up with a decent amount of BP and their pip, as - far too often when I play survivor - I get tunneled, slugged or camped out super early, and earn nothing.

understandable for me when learning huntress especially starting on console... it was hell and lots of jerks so i realized just playing ruthless was good. dont just go chase every single person to avoid tunneling, slug and tunnel when needed, camp when needed. so much better that way. just dont be a jerk for no reason is the way i play
