Nerfing the killer meta and modestly buffing survivors would be a buff to solo Q.
If borrowed time and decisive strike was somehow basekit. Camping and tunneling obliterates solo Q, if only the Entity has told the developers this secret.

That's why I basically play killer 90% of time now, even I consider myself survivor main at heart. Normally I played around 50/50 when I played soloQ. I only play now survivor with friends but they are killer mains or don't play much. My one friend used to play survivor only but become killer main as survivor is just weak and miserable lot of times. In soloQ killers usually whipe floor with survivors so it's understandable reason.

On a more serious note. People tend to only remember bad things and not the good ones. That's one of the reasons why I make screenshots after every match.

I can't deny that you're very candid with your wording, but I don't know why you don't think people know what implication is.

^ Facts.
The game is currently balanced around very, very low skill level solo queue survivors. Even in solo queue we win most our matches and when we do lose it's because I or my team played poorly, or someone suicided. None of that is a solo queue issue.
I'd go as far as to say even in solo queue the game is still balanced in favor of survivors and quite significantly at that.

Because it sounds nicer than calling someone a lyer or biased? (general statement, not calling anyone biased or a lyer)
I can only judge from the matches i have myself and the matches i occasionally see from some streamers. If he constantly has bad matches, then it might be because:
A) elo hell - a change of build or playing SWF might help
B) not as good as he thinks - watching streamers can improve the skill
C) only perceives the bad matches and not the good ones - taking screenshots of every match and comparing them at the end helps
D) exagerates - the grass on the other side is always greener
E) plays only at times where the mmr might have difficulties in finding the correct teammates/killers - playing at different times can help

I mean we could go through the math if you'd like.
For example, just on pick up, walk to the hook and the animation you lose nearly 25% of a gen lost every.single.time. That is locked animation, nothing you can outplay or improve on, just sunk time. So even on an even 6 hook game you lost a entire gen and half just in locked animation..
Anything longer than a 20 second chase without a hit or a pallet is typically losing you the game as killer. So even at 20 seconds for just a hit or a pallet you are losing 20x3=60 seconds. That's 75% of a gen per hit or pallet, not even a down. For reference most the killer roster can't get a hit or pallet in even 20 seconds against remotely decent survivors. You can hold W and cost him about 10 seconds of that before even playing the loop.
You could even just pre drop every single pallet instantly and have 5 gens done before you run out. There's that much time between break animation and just holding W to catch up again. Nearly 80% of most maps pallets aren't mind gameable against a decent survivor once thrown and require a break for reference.
Just the time to simply walk across the map at the start of the game is nearly 75% of a gen.
The time required for objectives between the two sides is not even remotely in the same playing field. Most the "issues" of solo queue have nothing to do with solo queue, it's players being bad at the game. That isn't a balance problem.

Actually quite the opposite, the matches I remember the most are the ones where I get to have a really good team who takes hits, works together, does things ya know, like a team... which is rare in solo q.
Screenshots prove nothing. I want to see people like you who say solo Q is fine to STREAM the game so we can see all the matches without anything being picked and hidden.

Oh i know how to read. You´re asking me to proof my point by streaming every single match i have. So i can´t hide bad matches, where i lose mmr on purpose (for whatever reason).

I just said that for me to get teams who are good is rare, and you say right after "it's not rare". That's why I asked.
t's not about losing MMR. It's about not getting bad teams. I want to have games where even in solo I have fun because I'm playing on a team, not playing with a 1v1v1v1v1v1

I constantly get good teams. Sometimes i get bad teams. People that suicide/dc on the first hook. Afk players or simply bad players.
Thats why i said at the very beginning, that this is a skill issue, which additional information can´t solve. People that are bad and don´t want to improve, will stay bad and blame everyone but themselves.

Oh so solo Q being bad is my fault, got it. I'm sure the 25 hour megs I get on my team randomly are the good ones, clearly me at 5500+ hours is not as good as a 25 hour meg.

Agreed. Most times it really is fine. Really comes down to how experienced and skilled you and your teammates are.
As they mentioned themselves, adding status info to the HUD would be wonderful. I'd rather take that than basekit bond/kindred.

My last match: 3 flans were used. Claudette suicides on the first hook. Dwight hides in the locker and avoids unhooking anyone else only to die because the exit gates on pizzaheads map are well, right in front of each other.
When i say that people are bad. I generalize and don´t mean you personally.

A basic ping system. Effectively you mark the location your standing at with a marker that gradually fades. Its only visible to survivors. The marker indicates your situation. Killer on me, totem here, heal please, unhook me. Its a simple system. That gives feedback to solos.
To those that argue it would destroy dbds identity and make certain perks worthless. I agree but the proverbial pandoras box of swf comms was open long ago. Even the playing field between solos and swfs. I expect totem killer perks will become worthless but leaving solo in the state it is is frankly unaccpetable.

That dosent fix solo q being down perk slots to give swf information. You cant balance around swf and solo untill the information gap is closed without giving up perks slots.

Lethal pursuer becoming more worthwhile is not game breaking tbh. Corrupt dosent have an impact on an early game collapse since you can just do an open gen. Besides bhvr not going to blindly introduce an early game collapse without considering early game perks.
Which let me remind you have a clear use by date before they net zero further value.

Agree with this 100% I play survivor more often than killer because it's a lot less stressful.
Solo can suck sometimes, but it's always down to player decisions. I dedicate at least 1 perk slot to aura reading and can see exactly how other people are playing- hell I've been on the hook with kindred and seen 2 people in the other corner of the map while the third is getting chased. They can see each other too, they just don't care.
The whole 'fix soloQ' thing is just 'i don't want to have to give up DH IW or DS to actually coordinate with my team'.
Killer needs help before solo do (in line with nerfs to the more oppressive killers)

Doesn't mean solo shouldn't be buffed, it should. Also doesn't mean aura reading perks should consider being basekit. Kindred basekit is massive for SWFs, who have way more opportunities to make precision plays. It's the difference between an obvious unhook and a sneaky one that uses LOS blockers that Kindred enables.
Kind of wierd how many people miss that.

Huh? You totally missed the point, who cares if YOU don't communicate every action lmao he's talking about it not benefitting SWF's not casuals like yourself on discord that can't be bothered to do optimal call outs. The fact is that organized SWF's do utilize call outs to their fullest potential so adding in action markers or other tools like base kit kindred aren't going to do anything that SWF's already have but it will help solo players immensely.

That match was miserable. Team was going down a lot. They couldn’t do a box. A dc really hurt us. I don’t mind the pinhead camping because I understand why he did it in that moment. What I don’t get is why he started to hit me on the hook when I clearly did nothing to him. It stoped recording but the ending was one of the most frustrating thing you have seen in this game. I get to second state and Claudette comes to unhook me with no bt. She dead hards right threw me and I got down and pinhead who already hated me pick me up immediately and I died with him hitting me on the hook. Not to mention that when I went down Claudette started to tbag me. :(

Thing is I actually like going up against pinhead. Problem is I don’t get the teams that can help me out whenever it’s him. Too many people scared to do the box. Also that Claudette escaped which was super unfortunate. Funny thing is when I made a post tome ago with this video, someone accused me of “wanting to be carried” in my games. 🫤
also yeah that pinhead was probably frustrated but still doesn’t excuse the bm. If Cheryl hadn’t dc we would have won this game I believe.
