Why some people need to be so salty?
Hey, fellow humans of this universe. How's everything?
Yesterday I had a match against a Wraith. I was a Nea (as I am trying to prestige her because I want all characters P3)... well, to the point, there were two Claudettes and another Nea, the two Claudettes were good loopers and took advantage of blinding the Wraith as soon as he grabbed the other survivor. Nea was the gen rusher...
I still needed some mask on my own so I grabbed the masquerade invitation and did gens but saw the two Claudettes bullying the poor killer... when the killer saw me fixing the gen, he hit me and then kicked the gen, I touched it so the Wraith could earn some points by it... and also I threw a pallet too, so he could kick it.
Anyway, he understood I wasn't part of the SWF (I saw it on their steam plattform that they knew each other) so he left me alone, after one or two gens, he killed one of the Claudettes, by that the last generator went off, and the Nea started opening the gate. At the end, the Nea 99'd the gate and proceed to hide nearby, Claudette miscalculed her DH and the Wraith finally hooked her, the other Nea went to rescue the Claudette only to fail and end hooked... When the Wraith saw me, he told me no with his head and proceeded to open the gate. At the End Game Chat he thanked me for being a good sport and said that he'd like if there were more survivors like me.
Point is... why being salty with a killer that only wanted to have a nice game? Thanks to being nice, the Wraith left me leave with a lot of points. There was no need to be salty about that or to say, yeah we escaped in your face, proceed to t-bag. What do you think guys? I personally think that the game needs less toxicity overall and could use some niceness.

Behavior deliberately promoted a salty, mean-spirited survivor player base for years with the kind of streamers they promoted and rewarded. Survivors are jerks because that’s what the devs want.

Completely agree. I always try to play nice, whichever side im on, but it definitely feels like an uphill battle. You can still win matches without bein a total jerk...just wish more ppl saw it that way.
