Killer Mains- Which Killer and/or Builds causes survivors to DC the most?
Title. From what you’ve observed/noticed/your experience.

I had the most disconnects using Leatherface and face-camping but way less than you would think. I would say when I was face-camping with Leatherface, I had 1 DC out of every 5 to 10 games. (I was testing the hypothesis that you are rewarded for face-camping with Leatherface, which you are).

I've had a lot of survivors ragequit because of devour

I main Mikey so it's definitely tombstone piece. Not that I run it often but when I do a DC is sure to follow somewhere.
1 -
I will dc vs thana / ruin/pentimento/ any forth perk legion,,it's legit BORING and disgusting
6 -
Survivors DC more than usual whenever I play Bubba. Not even camping or anything, just first down and they're out.
2 -
Strangely enough, pinky finger clown.
Occasionally iri hatchet and impossible skill check doc.
But mostly just pinky finger. Idk what it is. Maybe it's the fact of getting insta downed by a clown wearing an elephant suit, who knows. But I usually get 1-2 DCs per match with pinky finger

When I play Pinhead with a gen regression build. Survivors get annoyed and dc.
4 -
That’s sad that that’s the case.
Really??
Surprised to hear this. I thought everyone just hopped in lockers and took the L. Unless ofc they’re DC’ing during the kill animation lol.

Trapper. No perks, no addons.
Source: Trust me
2 -
Its usually the ones who are copping it that DC.

My record is two in one match as huntress, I think first rage quit and second figured why bother
0 -
I could actually see that. Pinhead is one of my killer mains and if you aren't playing an SWF, or you have an amazing solo queue survivor that takes care of the box, you are pretty screwed.
2 -
Yea having to deal with the box just adds to frustration sometimes
0 -
Sometimes you just gotta take your medicine, bro. And yea, that is a disgusting build. It’s very effective against solos.
‘As a trapper main, I co-sign this. 😂
Strange, but I get it. Pinky finger is not fun to play against. Clowns who use it ALWAYS seem to know what they’re doing. Very few wasted bottles with those guys.

instadowns are annoying, a lot of DC when I play bubba/billy or that trickster add on, it's broken

5 Perks in One =D,
Also cause im Nurse, Dc.
that's majority of my games..

Any Adept build

As killer, I very much want to DC against the Sabo bully squads, but try to stick it out when I can.
As survivor, I've learned to stick it our for as long as I can, but against Nurse I'll DC if she just slugs me and won't let me hook suicide.
0 -
This. I main survivor, and this is the killer I see who gets the most DC’s. ESPECIALLY when he has gen regression AND Plaything. It’s too much for some people smh. Very frustrating for me as a solo because not only do I have to endure the triathlon of DBD objectives, I have to do it short handed when someone disconnects early.
‘Is that the add-on that takes less increases lacerations with less knives? That one SUCKS. He’s already not fun to play against.
Seems legit. From what I’ve observed as a solo player, she’s number 2 for most DC’s in low-mid MMR (behind Do your chores Pinhead). Her Infectious Fright/Knock-Out/Starstruck/Barbecue Slug build absolutely guarantees a DC every. Single. Fricken. Time. Unbelievable…
Ha!

Build seems irrelevant.
Going down first after trying to bully or BM looks to be the first reason.
The second reason is being downed right after an unhook (usually 12 seconds after trying to body-block with BT)
0 -
They also call you a "Sweaty" Nurse, Despite the Fact that they're not only gen rushing but just doing the simple Hold W and never look behind them...
...It's been like this almost every single damn game, AND the Dhs too
0 -
Nurse without question has the highest "Quit" rate. When it comes to giving up/killing themselves on hook or straight up DCing. Followed by Myers with a build that lets him kill people in T3.
0 -
Rarely DC as survivor, and when I do it's mostly because of team mates, but if I were to DC because of the killer it would probably be either pinhead or huntress because they bore me the most.
If I wanted to dc because of perks would be pentimento because I keep getting team mates who do totems and it's slow forever.
2 -
I don't get that many DC's as Demogorgon (usually when I tunnel or camp, not because of specific builds or because I'm playing an "unfun" Killer) but I have been called boring for using Barb's Glasses and Black Heart before
0 -
i remember in the past i played mostly the pig and ppl never dc against me. Mb there were some rare cases in the end i dont even remember
but sometimes i played billy. One succsesful charge at very beggining of match and surv DC. It happed often. Seems like they feel some sort a blow to morale. May be thinking that this round they are going to win and suddenly they are down in the first 10-15 sec.
0 -
Barb's Glasses are good, but the more I play without them, the more I realize they aren't Demogorgon's second best Add-On.
I don't see the point of Rat Liver. The speed boost isn't all that useful imo, tho that might be because I don't zone with Demogorgon that often, I usually just Shred
0 -
Sometimes as Dredge people use to rage quit if they get caught while they're trying to lock a locker early game and they call me "OP killer".
Other times, also as Dredge, when I use devour hope, they do gens very quick without checking totems and I'm about to Mori them with the 5th stack.

Twins, as soon as the first one has Victor on their back they know the Twins strategy to victory.
0 -
I guess it does have it's uses, but I still don't think it's that great, maybe B tier at best
0 -
I’d hate to say it but hunting for confirmation bias is not testing a hypothesis.
To the OP personally I wouldn’t go around announcing what I find makes survivors DC more as it just becomes a “here’s how to make survivors dc” topic.
Which doesn’t really do the game any service.

I'd say Leprose Lichen and Black Heart are Demogorgon's best Add-Ons.
Leprose Lichen grants you an insane amount of information with no downside every time you teleport, you don't really even need to run information Perks of you're using Leprose Lichen.
Black Heart is just Black Heart. Shortens chase time by quite a significant amount of time and makes Shred even more dangerous than it already is

The real question is: has anyone managed to get all four survivors to DC? Happened to me once when I was legion, and I believe the survivors were swf
0 -
I seriously doubt any one is taking notes with the intent to make survivors DC purposely. If that was their goal, all they have to do is straight up camp and tunnel. No build or killer will grant you quicker DC’s.
I created this thread out of pure curiosity, because as a survivor main- I see a lot of DC’s against Pinheads & Nurses (especially with certain builds). I was wondering if the killers themselves have the same experience. Players who are playing the game normally, trying to be the most efficient killers with skill & tact. Interesting to see the variety of answers here.

I get a shocking amount of dcs when I run plague's meme build - green puke only infects objects + increased object infection duration.
I guess nobody likes fixing gens with vomit all over it and never fades?
0 -
“Never fades??” That’s a thing?! 😳
0 -
Not "never" but with those add-ons, it stays up for like 2 minutes with a 100% increased infection rate so it's pretty nasty and rarely falls off if you're paying attention
0 -
Ahhhh so that’s what that is. I thought that was base. A lot of Plague’s like using that then.

You haven’t spent much time with this community have you?
There are videos dedicated to making people dc.
Im not saying it’s not an interesting topic but it is in the vein of “how do you make people dc?”
0 -
Ive had a surprising amount with just basic pinhead. If you throw on any crazy perks/addons, yeah...the DCs flow like water.
0 -
Legion with thanatobia and slobby butcher for me probably cause some survivors to dc. Also sometimes when I tunnel some survivor they dc but im not sure does it matter what killer I play in these cases as I play so many so I can't really say which killer causes most dc:s but my quess is these happen more when I play bubba or nurse.

Enough with the passive aggressiveness- no need to be a wise guy to get your point across. You’re giving the trolls too much credit. This thread isn’t research material. I’m sure they’re already adept at their “craft.” And as far as any future wannabes are concerned, they won’t get much out of this. Maybe just a smidge, but that’s only if you keep bumping it with pessimism…

Huntress + Iridescent Head: at least 1 DC guaranteed 10 out of every 10 games! Accept no substitutes!
Mori or Shroud of Separation offering: No matter what killer you play, Bringing in a secret offering is a surefire way to get 1 or more DC's in 8 of every 10 games. It's not the first place choice, but it does the job!

Doctor with Dead mans switch and pain res and make your choice.
Its actually his strongest build and if you play Doctor well enough you can literally stop survivors from doing gens the whole game constantly, you will ofc not down everyone like a nurse or blight but you will stop them from playing the game which annoys the hell out of them.
But you do get alot of kills since this build does help you alot to buy enough time to hook and down enough ppl.
Played over 50+ games with this build and my kill rate so far is 3,2.
Dead hard is the only thing that keeps this build from beeing better, since dead hard will get changed this build will be devestating.

pinhead, legion and trapper are the top 3 DC magnets from my experience.
none were as bad as stridor spirit tho. it was so bad that lethal+franklins was my secret strat to farm those DCs. the earlier you punish a survivor, your odds dramatically rise. For Pinhead its getting the box immediately/downing the survivor that grabs it first, for Legion its faking a frenzy chain and double backing and for Trapper its basement time.

No it won't, They're changing Pain Resonance to no longer work with DMS. PR will no longer splode gens or make survivors scream. I guess With Doc, you can still make em scream yourself with Static Blast, but that's only once every 60 seconds (unless using Order add-ons to lower the time to a minimum of 50 seconds), otherwise you'd have to shock em with 28m ranged Shock Treatment using Interview Tape and High Stimulous Electrode.
Either way, the build will still not be as powerful as it is right now pre-changes.

Hag, Trickster, Legion, Cenobite. Builds and style don't matter, if I'm playing these killers, there's a good chance that someone DCs either when they see me, or on first down.

If you think so
