Will the reduced hit cool-down also apply to M2 attacks?

Will the new reduced cool-down also apply to M2 attacks like Shred, Ambush and Blood Fury? All of these have the same successful hit cool-down as a normal M1 attack, so will they also be reduced?
And what about breaking Deathslinger’s chain? Will that also be reduced to match the basic attack cool-down?

Deathslinger's chain break isn't a basic attack, but the m1 is. I imagine that if you can trigger basic attack relevant perks like save the best or current Jolt, then its going to receive the buff.

Probably (hopefully) not

Why not?

I don't think it will count for M2's since M2 attacks are killer specific and are different depending on the power. If they were to do it for an M2, it would be part of a power rework. M1 attacks every killer has and is the same amount of time. That is easy to rework.

That makes sense. I was just wondering because all of the M2 attacks I listed have the same cool-down as a basic attack (3 seconds) so I thought that it would be a bit odd to have Shred and Ambush recover slower despite currently being the same speed.
