Reduced hit cooldown without a nerf to stbfl?!?!
That will be fun: faster breaking pallets, slower gens, no dh for distance, no camping counter and on top the devs ignore the strengh of stbfl and buff it even more with the reduced cooldown for successful hits… chases will end up in seconds.

technically self nerfing since its percentage based.

60% of 100 is 60
60% of 90 is 54
Yes, its still a buff. 1 stack buff.
3 -
STBFL only goes up to 40% at 8 stacks.
2 -
Yes and it’s now a days clearly a very strong meta perk, which will make it even stronger

STBFL is far from meta. Maybe when the perk reworks come out but in the current state of dbd... definitely not meta.
3 -
Which 60% is the remaining time for the M1 cooldown. 54 is surely lower than 60.
I dont remember the exact time, but you get it.

Strong? Yes.
Meta? No.

Its only meta on 2 killers though

@AetherBytes the % change is not that big. old is 40% of 3 seconds which is 1.8 seconds. The new is 40% of 2.7 which is 1.62. its +2 base-kit and +2 max in relation to old numbers. m1 killers aren't that hard to loop and I'm pretty sure that survivor's speed boost and killer recovery is so significant that you will still make it to next pallet. its more of feel good-change rather something significant.
survivors are getting base-kit borrow time and the actual meta perk borrow time... well its getting stronger. it will 15 second longer and it applies 7% haste effect for full 15 second. in their case, they get free perk in their base-kit and the meta perk is.... just stronger. no negatives, no drawbacks, nothing. no anti-camp measures... they say.

Save the best is good but not meta. Its very niche and situational. I dont think it need a nerf

but now its meta

only meta on 2 killers in this meta

idk man we should test it out first before jumping to conclusions.
dont get me wrong I love save the best, use it all the time on diferent builds. But “meta” is too strong a word for it..at least until we put it to use

60% of 3 seconds is 1.8, 60% of 2.7 is 1.62.
Not a lot more, but still almost half of the base attack cooldown.

On two killers?? stbfl is insane on Demo, Pig, Leatherface, Deathslinger and also on m1 killer like Clown, Doctor, Myers, Trapper

STBFL was already good on decent Deathslingers that can aim now it's gonna be more oppressive which I don't mind at all it's strong yes but not OP the perk still remains situational.
With the upcoming DH nerf and indirect STBFL buff Deathslinger might become a bottom A Tier killer, that is if you can hit your shots of course.
He deserved some buffs even tho they're for all killers it will be particularly great on Slinger and I am glad that he will be stronger after the Midchapter patch.
Still unhappy about how they changed his terror radius to 32m it just doesn't make any sense to have a 32m on a slow 110 killer like Slinger.
anyways sorry I know the topic is not about Slinger but STBFL and yeah its gonna be stronger but not THAT strong won't be meta for sure.
