It has come to my knowledge that a that user on this platform is taking comments made by other users and posting them on a social media site and making fun of them with their friends and other viewers of the site

The user is taking comments that they don't agree with or discussion topics after fighting with them on the forums and posting their responses back to them in a different context to make the other respondent look In the wrong light and posting them on a social media platform. I have noticed my comments responding to this user and also other user's comments, and have even recognized some of the users that responded in some discussions I also recognize

I wish I can say the user but I know the rules on this website

I also would like to know if this is allowed.

Its out of the control of these forums to moderate whats happening on different platforms

It’s a public forum meaning anyone -even people that aren’t registered here- can make screenshots and post them on other social media etc.

and other websites are out of control of the mods of this forum and rules can’t be extended to behavior outside of the forums.

Hmm ok thanks I just wanted to to know because I was recognizing these users comments and felt it was wrong and even Edvised the user to not try to make people look stupid but was just given back heavy sarcasm

We do not moderate what happens off of our platform, we definitely do not have control over anything that is posted on other platforms other than our own.

Forums are public spaces - what you post on them, can be posted elsewhere by others (pretty much the same as anything else on the internet), this is not a new thing, however if you feel you are being witch hunted then this is something you can take up with the platform the content is posted on ie Twitter.
