An invitation for ideas

After playing Sadako for a bit, it felt like she needed something. Like it doesn't have to be major but just something small to improve her life. What would yall think a Sadako buff could be?

    I’d add a negative status to holding a cassette tape. Blindness, oblivious, a slowdown to actions… something like that to give survivors a bit more incentive to trek across the map and get rid of it. Or incentive to risk working a gen while leaving the nearby tv active.

    Not all of these, but maybe a combination of some of the following:

    Increase the rate condemned builds, make survs exposed while carrying a tape.

    Make bloody fingernails basekit, teleport sound omnidirectional.

    Cut tv "off" status by half, give her a speed boost (to movement and breaking actions) while demanifested.

    Make her completely silent/invisible while demanifested, decrease manifesting time.


    I think buffing condemnation in some way is a must, though. It's useless as is.

    An idea I've heard that I really really like is giving her the ability to walk through pallets (and maybe breakable walls) when Demanifested. It would give her an actual unique power in chase, and force Survivors to think and predict more in chase. Additionally, Condemned should build up over time when within 16 meters of a generator, making it an actual threat.

    I think that Well thing, she always pop out of in the Onryo Killer screen, could be introduced to the game. Use the same technology you used for the invitation and let it rotate independently around the map and Onryo can teleport to it like she does the televisions. Teleporting to the Well gives a map wide boost to condemnation on all survivors. The well only spawns in after the first hook and it disappears completely after use, only returning once you’ve hooked a ‘new survivor’ (not rewarding tunnel).

    Just a general thought that would obviously need to be ironed out.
