Getting international survivors

I'm from Australia and as most people know, our internet is some of the worst in the developed world. This means it's very easy to tell when you have survivors from another country as they always have high ping.

When I queue up as a survivor, about 7 games out of 10 I'll swiftly be placed into a lobby with acceptable ping.
As a killer however, about 85% of the survivors that join (and sometimes leave) are from other countries, giving them terrible ping and making the game harder for us both.

Does anyone else encounter this? And is there any way to filter out international players to be matched with?

Thanks!

PS: I'm brand new to the forums so I'm sorrry if I've done anything incorrectly.

Thats the beauty of the removed region lock!
I quite often get players from NA, Russia, Thailand and Japan in the same lobby. While i play from Europe.
Now imagine killers would get punished for dodging those lobbies...

I (almost) always get players from EU and im from germany.
The only time I get other regions is when I play early in the morning or very late during night.
