Then again - they thought at-launch CoH was a good idea, and that putting a hook in RPD 3rd floor was a good idea.
Just because something might be a bad idea doesn't mean it's outside of their track record.

Peanits already posted above that the idea is still in the queue eventually, it just got pushed back because of all the other big changes going on this year.

It doesn’t make sense that you guys proposed an idea to buff solo queue, but you’re not gonna implement anything for a whole year. This should’ve been a top priority especially with this upcoming update, solos are gonna need some help.

Well they announced the idea, they wouldn't of shared it if it wasn't something they plan on introducing. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't

Killer enduring to the pain Coh for like half a year before it getting nerfed down
Guess its time for Solo to enduring pain of this new patch for awhile before it getting some changed.

I haven't played the mobile game in quite some time, but the team behind the mobile counterpart seems to be on top of what the community's been asking for in the main game for so long: bots, Mori reworks, in-game communication for solo Q, etc. Personally I would love to see a wheel of communication options in DBD proper that solo players can choose from to communicate to other players.
