Wow do I hate slinger now
What a miserable killer he is. Half the nerfs were fine. He has no redeeming qualities now to me. The only good slingers I've seen playing survivor play dirty. All of his addons are garbage outside of his reload ones. Zero reason to play him and not huntress.
Oh whats that a slingers TR? W since he cant really do anything about it. If you're playing high end most if not all people can counter his shots. What made old slinger interesting was he could get the first hit easier then other ranged killers because he was sneaky. What are you going to do run the add ons that force you to aim down sights to lower your TR? Are you kidding me? Now that he doesnt have that going for him what does he have? A power that doesnt guarantee a health state if you land it. I cant stand this killer and I'm shelfing him until something is done with him if nothings ever done with him Rip slinger. Rant over

He's actually getting a buff with the developer update's reduced basic attack hit cooldown and pallet breaking time.
Dead Hard also won't counter his shots now either (which was by far the biggest thing that pissed me off, nothing like pulling off an amazing shot only for the survivor to tap a button and disregard it entirely). One second of endurance doesn't matter when you still need to reel them in after the shot.
Can only hope it's enough to make him viable though. I main him for the most part so I'm praying. I agree he could use an addon pass, although he does have some good addons outside of the reload ones (rusted spike, for example).

They buffed Nurse in the same patch Slinger got nerfed.

I share your anger I really hate the TR radius change he was already weak against W keying still don't understand why they put a fat 32m TR on a slow 110 killer with no mobility whatsoever just doesn't make any sense to me.
Monitor and Abuse was not even THAT strong on him yeah it caught unaware survivors off guard but survivors who were paying attention to their surroundings and always keep an eye out for the Killer were not affected by M&A at all.
His ADS feels so slow and clunky they completely butchered him...
I still enjoy playing him tho the Iri coin can be efficient if you're a good shot and I love his chase music.

The reason why Slinger feels like he's playing dirty is because he literally cannot shoot you if there is a terrain between you two,
because you will just break the chain and stun him before he can get to you..
Basicaly the only time you can use Slinger power is when survivor is out in the open or when you want to trade getting stunned for injuring.

And theres zero hope for them to revert the TR change now that spine chills getting nerfed into the ground
