Can we have a way to learn where totems spawn without throwing games?
I would say I'm an above average player with 1k hours of experience but I don't know where all the totems are. If ruin is up on a map I can't find it right away so what do I do to learn? Well first of course I run small game. Then I get a 2 story map like rpd or midwich. The ping goes off, have no idea where the stupid totem is. Can still take many minutes just to find a single totem after the ping goes off. That's for a single totem with a totem finding perk.
There's no way to do practice games in a map and even if you bring map offerings there's so many variations of maps etc. Yes yes I know everyone will say "just learn where they are 5head" but it shouldn't be so hard to learn where totems are. At least let me pick specific maps in practice games. And yes I realize detectives hunch exists too but why do I have to run 2 perks just to try and find totems.

I’d like to do a custom match with only me playing so I can learn maps before I jump into live games.
This would’ve been a good opportunity for people to learn RPD as well.
Now sadly we got many people crying about that map because they don’t know how to navigate on it 🤷♂️

There you go.
(Devs have set a tentative date for end of 2022 as to when they're implementing bot matches)

We'll be getting offline matches with bots "soon tm".

Also, if you have Detective's Hunch the objects are added to the green map essentially turning it into a Rainbow Map where you just have to repair a gen first to get the info

Use detective's hunch... It's really good even if you don't need to search for hex. It's easy to prevent 3-gen with it too.

Mogsy, formerly known as Sattelizer, has a couple videos out in a series he's working on to show common totem spots. Right now he just has videos on Macmillan and Autohaven.

They have multiple Green Glyph Challenges... They spawn in spots totems can spawn. They LITERALLY give you a way

Ok once again if you could read I said I know these things exist (yeah I didn't mention map) but why do I need to bring 2 perks and 1 item just to barely learn where the totems are? If you can't read it would be good to probably try not to respond to comments.

You asked if there were ways to learn where they are and they answered. Take maps into a few games until you're comfortable with where totems usually are and then you won't have to do it again.
The point of totems is that they're supposed to be difficult to find, so you're not going to get an easy answer to your question without sacrificing part of your build.

if people played RE2 Remake, RPD wouldnt be so confusing...

If you can't read it would be good to probably try not to respond to comments 😉
