I love the aesthetic of the new maps, however their balance is complete horse #########.

You have some loops where your only options are bloodlusting and/or chasing them until the entity blocks the window. Heck some have loops that can break chase, which means you can't even get those two things to happen. There's no mind game potential to be had, no skill. It's literally hold W until one of those two things happen. And that's the worst ######### kind of design. It actually encourages killers to camp, because why waste 40 seconds on multiple tiles to chase people just to try and get a hit in, when you can simply camp one person out of the game.

Most people would love to chase and loop, but when you take away any real skill it makes it boring and no one wants to do it. So instead of actually playing the game as intended because you refuse to actually fix your horrible map design, I'd rather just camp and tunnel at this point

Maps that are larger than 9000m² should only be playable by killers like : Freddy, Ring, Nurse, Blight.

Yeah it's just sad that after so many years they're still making the same mistakes and refuse to fix it

The game game design is : 4 players have fun and 1 player suffers. This makes the most money; it wont keep working when VHS and Ghostbusters come out.

I mean yeah myers main when ran right is basically an infinite because you can lose chase before they vault so it doesn't count to entity block.

F13 had a lawsuit that killed it.

Last year had a CEO run away with the money & they tried to be discord store exclusive.

This year will release the LF game, Ghostbusters, ED and VHS. DBD will be required to change - or there will be bots.

There are regular times where DBD has 4000 survivors in queue and about 30 killers. More games that are newer and balance for voice coms will be appealing to many players.

They been saying the same thing for years. 6 to be precise. A certain Slasher the 13th was one of them, The new Ash Vs was the same.

the truth is, if killer was that unbalanced no one would play and dbd would die out slowly (kinda what happened to A certain hero game and its balancing). But tbh I have fun and get consistent wins and so do a lot of people.

VHS isn't very fun and way too tiring as monster. It's a tactical game and had nothing to do with DbD. I've been in the old beta and in the new one and I never play anymore.

ED has balance issues that they are still working on but the demon side gets old fast at the moment.

Who knows, Ghostbusters will be different?

    I wouldn't hold my breath.

The source was anonymous but they pinged the DBD servers looking at who was in queue.

Whoever made this really didn't do a good job of realaying the information in an easy to read formant.

Bamboozle - while I love the perk and use it religiously is a "band aid" perk. You shouldn't need to run Bamboozle to feel like you have a chance with M1 killers.

Dude all maps have the most useless things in them that you get stuck on.

I get stuck in invisible things which apparently have a hitbox.

New map has many of those.

Playing both killer or survivor is honestly sad on the new map.

Shack is surrounded by ######### and In one loop near the main there's a minature dog house that you would never see it if you didnt look down.

On Autoheaven I lost a kill with huntress because apparently the hitbox of a tiny hand hanging from the wall is big enough to protect the survivor.

As survivor I had to DH or just die from that thing.

Is getting ridiculous on how many times you will get stuck on random things.

I mean you learn the loops with time, but is annoying to have to move a bit everytime there's a chair or a barel or an invisible minecraft wall,so you wont get stuck.

New map, I am scared to take loops tight.

######### dog house and a totem in the most stupid place, rocks, chairs, trees.

It's honestly funny at this point even talking about it..

I don't think VHS so much, because from some of the gameplay I've seen, matchmaking is more skewed than DBD, as well as the factor of it's just teens bullying supernatural creatures and killing them, so basically current state of dead by daylight but the teenagers can actually kill the Killer

Ghostbusters works, I still play Friday the 13th, and I haven't tried out the Evil Dead game

VHS gets a lot of things right. For one every hit matters as it lowers your health. You knock the player down and that's the end of it. You can't be pallet stunned or blinded and lose the chase.

Imagine for example with DBD if it took 50% longer to heal every time you got injured. The 4th time you heal is going to take an eternity. Medkits will run out super fast and you can't ignore being hit by the killer anymore.

VHS doesn't require the teens to make a mistake - if you play killer well you get downs. That only happens in DBD with Nurse and sometimes Blight.

that may be true, but you even have to admit that it is a little bit busted when brand new Killers get faced against the high level teens

I will admit I haven't experienced anything firsthand just yet because I'm still waiting on an email to be accepted into the beta hopefully, I am worried though, because I am scared that the game might turn into the new DBD where it's just "us vs. them" in all honesty I just want a game where everyone can have fun

FT13th is it good example of this, because anytime I play the game it's really fun matches, everyone is really respectful to one another, although once in awhile you do get a group that teams up and won't kill each other when they are Jason

I hope VHS is like that once it is no longer beta and it's open for everyone, it has a lot of potential that I can't wait to see. We can hope for the best good luck and I hope to see you in the fog
