Something I'm Sure Many Of Us Want To Know
Many of you probably heard about the rumor from a couple of days ago that Netflix is once again teaming Behaviour and bringing Stranger Things back to Dead By Daylight and possibly with new content.
With the final two episodes of season 4 only days away I don't know about anyone else however I would like to know if and official answer can be given on this. Even if it is just a yes or no and comes with no details.

In typical Netflix fashion, the show was bad, poorly written and not very well acted. I could not care less about it.

Same and the lab can stay gone that map was horrible and proved how powerful booms were on indoor maps

Are we talking about the same show? My comment is about Stranger Things and more specifically about if it is coming back to Dead By Daylight.

As much as I would love for the leaks to be true, i highly doubt they are. And even if they turn out to be true BHVR wouldn't confirm leaks anyways, so I wouldn't get my hopes up for an answer. (but if we get Eddie & Robin i'm never complaining again lmao)

I really doubt BHVR would team up again after having to pull content. I miss Hawkins. It was a fun map.
I'm not in any rush to watch S4. S3 really jumped the shark.

First of all, those were Leaks. Leaks are not discussed.
Second, it seems like those Leaks were false from what is known now. Which is one of the reasons why it is pointless to talk about Leaks.
Third, I really hope that BHVR never acquires this license again. If Netflix thought they want to make an own game and dont have to share the profits and pulled it from DBD because of that, they should not be taken back when they failed.

this one was just speculation though, wasn’t it? It could have just as easily been the case that both parties couldn’t agree on something when negotiating for the renewal
or have they actually tried something and failed yet?

I've seen ads for a candy crush style game that was stranger things themed on instagram. Had demo front and center. I assume this is the game that they went for, but I could be wrong.

As @amazing_grace said there was a mobile game. At least this is what I heard.
But I am not really into Stranger Things, so I dont know what exactly exists. My knowledge of Stranger things is basically what is in DBD and nothing more.

Yeah, but are we really assuming they would withdraw content from DbD because of a puzzle mobile game? I mean, there have been these retroactive Stranger Things games before as well.. doesn’t seem like that’s really the reason..

If it's any consolation S4 is about 90 times better than S3 could ever hope to be. Right from Episode 1 the jump in quality is astounding.

I’m going to be killed for this but I’d prefer if ST stayed out. Having the 9 perks as basic ones is great for new players and Hawkins was an awful map
Only thing I miss is demo but I still see him every so often

Twitter accounts spread fake info for clout and views.
This one in particular used a fan made model to concoct a twitter post that has all kinds of people including well known streamers spreading this info, making videos for views etc,... all because some account made up some post for clout. They then deleted the post and here we are.

Yes, especially Fixated was considered a Learning Tool by the community so that Survivors can understand Scratchmarks. However, a Learning Tool does not make much sense when it is behind a paywall (and a pretty expensive one as well, since the ST-Chapter was more expensive than regular chapters because of the two Survivors).

"Possibly new content" hints about a interest about the current show. My answer gives more context than a yes or a no. (I didn't even know it was still ongoing.) As for being negative : it's kind of the show's fault. To be fair, there haven't been many shows worth a damn for several years: it's only my opinion of course; and it shouldn't invalidate the feelings of anybody loving that show. I'm just very difficult to please.
The title states "many of us". It's always interesting to have an idea of how much "many" is: for or against. Apparently, at this point, not a lot (few replies and no upvotes), which is kind of surprising. Had this thread unchained some passions, it may have been interesting to know.
Anyway, what @Aven_Fallen said basically seals the fate of this idea.

Honestly all of them are great new player perks imo (Probably intentional since ST would bring in a lot of new players)
Surge is a simple and strong regression option
Inner strength encourages secondary objectives to prevent Noed and rewards doing so with healing
Cameraderie counters camping (prevalent in lower ranks)
Babysitter helps the unhooked survivor escape tunnellers
Better together helps with gen coordination and has a mini kindred added on
Second wind is a helpful anti tunnel tool that rewards healing others
Mindbreaker encourages breaking chase to find better opportunities
Cruel confinement helps newer killers get downs when gens are completed
All of these were clearly made to help new players in various ways so having them in the base game is greatly beneficial

I for one doubt it but who knows. Pretty sure that’s when the RPD rework will come out so I doubt they’ll do 2 maps
