Will Pop Goes the Weasel still be effective post-update?
So right now, Pop steals away 25% of total progress from a gen after hooking a survivor. After the update, it's only gonna take 20% of the current progress instead of the total gen progress.
Will it still be worth running? I'm not good with numbers so it's not easy for me to tell.

Yes, because technically with the basekit change it's 22.5%, so you only lost 2.5% from Pop.

Not at all.

No, not at all. Even if the generator is 90% completed, which is 81 seconds, you're only removing 18.45 seconds from the gen. And that's with the added 2.5% base. Which seems like a lot, but the amount just goes down further the less it's been worked on. If they have 50% progress done, or 45 second worth of progress, you're only removing 10 seconds. That's at base if only 1 survivor is working on it with no toolbox and no perks that go towards gen speeds.
Not worth for having to go out of my way to kick a generator.
Simply put, all other perks are just better

Not how the nerf works at all.
It's now only 20% off what the survivors have repaired, and not 20% flat. Pop is pretty much useless against any gen that isn't already like nearly completely done. So nah, pop is pretty much dead.

😂😂😂 22.5% of current as opposed to total

No. Pain Resonance gives more regression (except when the generator is 75% or more), you don't have to go the gen and kick it and it also targets the gen with the most progress. Pop now's simply is getting outclassed by the other regression perks.
If you don't have anything else fine, but when there are other perks to compete it will be worthless.

Sure, probably. Still keep em off and it's fine still.

absolutely no

No. Run Overcharge, Call of Brine or other good regression perks. Pop is very niche perk right now.

lmao you should think better about numbers... the 2,5% is the regression applied by default to the ENTIRE generator, without considering the actual progress, while pop will regress the 20% of the CURRENT progress of the generator kicked, meaning that it won't regress the 20% of the entire gen (90*20/100= 18 seconds) but it will regress based on the current progress that a gen has (you kick a gen that is half way to be finished: 45*20/100= 9). essencially pop now is USELESS

That is only assuming that you are somehow slamming a 99.99% gen. For example, if you're stomping out an 80% gen, it's gonna be 18.5%. For 50%, it's only gonna be 12.5% and for a 30% gen it's only gonna be 8.25%.
It's still decent but the most likely damage you are going to do with this limited time perk that can run out if you don't use it fast enough is 20%.

I guess it does technically work better in SOME SITUATIONS because gens are now 10 seconds longer, so Pop just happens to be 12.5% more effective than on a standard gen? It still sucks for most gens with less than 99% progress.

I'd rather lose nothing.

I don't agree with the changes. A lot of them seem needlessly detrimental. But that's what BHVR does best. As a survivor main, I never once thought Pop needed a nerf. A lot of the regression perks feel needlessly nerfed.

Killer lyfe

You don't understand how new Pop works, right?

No nerfed killer perk will still be effective post update besides NOED. Which, amusingly, is the only perk that whiny survivors actually widely complained about.
