A More Thematically Accurate Buff to Off The Record

As someone who loved the previous version of this perk for its effect, I was really excited to hear that it was being buffed in the midchapter patch. However, when those patchnotes arrived, and when the PTB for them went live, I was less than pleased with what was chosen for the change.


I personally do not feel like Endurance fits the theme of this perk, and it isn't balanced either, as shown on multiple occasions already. Endurance incentivizes you to get in the killer's face, take hit, and in general try to be a nuisance. How does that relate to staying "Off the Record"? I'll tell you how. It doesn't. I always thought that the buff to Off The Record would be removing scratch marks, maybe removing blood too for its duration. That would let you truly go off the killer's radar, and fit more with the stealth theme that this perk implies and originally strived for. Now, of course, with this buff here, the Endurance would have to be removed (as it should) to keep it balanced.


But I would be curious to hear your thoughts, whoever may be reading this.
