Will we ever see Freddy-Cosmetics
title.
He is the only character in the entire game who hasnt received anything. "Licensed" or not, but all the others have received different cosmetics (Piggy, Ghostface for example).
I would love to see some Old Freddy-Skins (Robert Englund), the one from the final Nightmare-Movie for example, Red/Green-Dress instead of the Red/Black we know etc.
It could come with a tome and a little Addon-Pass, maybe? :-P

It's not up to the developers of the game. It is up to the license holders. And with a character like Freddy, there are multiple license holders (which is why we only have new Freddy).
I'm sure BHVR would love to add Freddy cosmetics considering how well they would probably sell.

Almost certainly not as there seem to be some copyright things with it and New Line Cinema (basically like Friday the 13th, Wes Craven's estate has the rights to the character but NLC has rights to international distribution or something)
Freddy in DBD was made with New Line Cinema (hence we got the crappy version of Freddy instead of the good one)

After four years in the game and not a single cosmetic in sight I wouldn't say so. The Nightmare on Elm Street people seem to be completely rigid when it comes to the license. They couldn't even get the original Robert Englund Freddy. They had to settle for the 2010 remake.
As a Halloween fan I'd have been very disappointed if we had gotten the awful Rob Zombie remake Myers and Laurie instead of the classic John Carpenter originals.

Didn't the actor who plays Quentin give his blessing to make Quentin look more like him? I know its not his decision to make but if he was behind the idea and it still never happened then it really shows its just a case of the license holders being too constrictive with the license.

Yeah, that's true. He probably doesn't even own his likeness for the character. I would love to see Jamie-Lee Curtis as Laurie; too bad they couldn't make it happen. Chris Evans joked that without his approval, Disney/Marvel could make toys and dolls of his likeness as Captain America.

Probably no. But i think his P3 skin is enough for Freddy because P3 looks so cool. He was my first P3 killer.

since robert england is playing (a small) role in the stranger things season 4, he might be interested to give his "yes" to license his character

no they can't since they dont own the rights to the original freddy kreuger. Also I dont get why him being in ST would be a sign of him wanting to give his likeness.

Same with Yoichi and Quentin. Also, I dont like remake Freddy because certain things they've made him, hopefully its a legendary of Englunds version

I seriously doubt he needs the money as his estimated net worth is 16 million. Freddy is one of the best known characters in horror the amount he is probably still making lots of money from it and that cameo was likely not much money to him. He is much more likely to do it for his own enjoyment of horror which I would say is the main reason for his role in ST.

I don't think you'd ever see Freddy cosmetics unless BHVR got the rights to use the Craven/Englund version.

I don't know, but I sure hope so. Adding the Englund likeness and one (Nancy) or more of the OG survs would really revitalize Freddy, and would make him super popular almost instantly.
And it they could get some Englund voice lines? *chef's kiss*
