About A Nurse’s Calling

I’m not asking for the Old Nurses 32 range or something I would consider “strong” but I was curious how effective or useful people would find Nurses if it gave a tiny bit more information. At first I thought a small noise notification when someone begins healing but saw the troll aspect of it, so then defaulted to the Status HUD.

Just give a little symbol when someone is healing, if you could advance that, then maybe a different icon or icon color for the difference in the types of heals. Like self heal/team heal (white), boon heal (blue), med-kit heal (green).

Killers will already know you’ve healed when you finish but we’ve never tried playing with the knowledge of when your healing. I was just wondering how much it might impact my gameplay/builds if I had this knowledge available to me. For instance Shattered Hope is a dead perk unless you happen to stumble on a Boon Totem, however if I can physically see survivors are only healing by boon, or have at least used one once, I can be more mindful of Boon plays or ‘know’ I have a chance to use SH and more actively hunt Down the boon. Plus it has synergy with the actual perk because you could scope out corners or suspicious areas you’d normally ignore if you knew someone was healing and if you could just get within 28 meters you’d see them.

I think it would make Nurses more fun.

Personally, I’d find this information valuable enough to waste a perk slot but seeing how it’s not directly telling you anything but just vaguely telling you what’s happening somewhere on the map, that it couldn’t be considered too overpowered. Even as we are now, it’s not like a secret if your a team that heals or not, we can see health states. If BHVR finds types of heals to specific, I’m still down with just the Nurses Eye HUD symbol when any type of healing is going on.

What do you guys think? How would you use/abuse this idea and would you survivor experienced people think this would be too useful a tool for Killer?

Out of the information perks, I would say that Nurse's is a really good perk and it is on a comfortable spot right now. The problem is that it's main users were hit and run killers, and since they are weak right now (mainly because of insane heal speed and CoH) the perk has dropped in usage. However, it is still a really good perk nonetheless.
