I only heard about Otz so i don't know much about the competitive aspect of DBD and dunno who are the famous greatest players in this game.

So i am curious.

i mainly look for those who at least stream on twitch or upload content on youtube so i can check out what perks they use when they play solo and check out their play-style so i culd learn from them to improve at the game

there is no competitive dbd subreddit sadly where i culd ask this question to gather info

I’m clearly the best and no one is capable of outclassing my glorious skills.

Obviously I’m joking lol I’m average at best. I will say Otz and OhTofu are some of the best killers and JRM is one of the best survivors.

Tofu us definitely really good. I wish I knew it was him before I faced him one time. I would've played much differently. Ayrun and JRM are really good survivors.

KnightLight is a DBD comp player and he also streams on twitch if you're interested.

he's in the best DBD comp team Eternal.

XenoDBD just came back from a long break of DBD,he's a old comp player and streams on Twitch.

I think Dowsey is pretty good - i really liked the Survivor series... he also played with Ayrun, JRM and OTZ together.

CoconutRTS is a really good Huntress and SupaAlf is a really good Nurse.

There is this competitive Team Oracle - don´t know them, but there are some show matches... and yeah - these are the SWF you don´t wanna met.

A survivor that I find to be excellent is "Cope". I've also watched him do that 1vs1 challenge against Otz. That legend had to come back to the killer because he managed make him lose track :).

So, while you can look up high-tier players, it's worth pointing out that you might be playing yourself if you try and emulate them, at least for a time. A lot of higher level players use perks, mechanics, and tactics that don't work too well in a vacuum. They use an incredible amount of experience and game sense to make those perks and tactics work. The average player trying to emulate these things might get absolutely nothing out of it, save for wasted time and frustration.

First things first is to really dig into the fundamentals. Get yourself to the point where you perform very well regardless of your perks. Sure, run perks as you do it, but don't rely too heavily on them. Once you get a really good understanding of the mechanics, and you get a good feel for the flow of gameplay at a moment-to-moment basis, then you can start looking into more advanced tactics, as well as perk utilization that gives you interesting advantages.

    With all that said...

Otz is good for looking up FAIRLY solid ways of playing Killer, though he DOES tend to use non-Meta perks. He can do this because he has a lot of experience and game sense. However, his general playstyle per Killer will normally be a good indicator of how you can play that Killer reliably. Sometimes he shows off advanced techs, but like any tech, you will need to learn when you should and shouldn't use it.

If you like Demo, Scott Jund is good. He plays Demo in a very reliable way, and doesn't really use too many niche perks or unusual methods, so his performance is something you can very realistically build towards quickly.
