I made an animation to show why 110% one blink Nurse doesnt work
You can image Nurse chases you with Spirit's speed, then at window/pallet, you have 2 choices:
- Drop pallet, vault window. Nurse blinks over and get hit.
- Not drop pallet, vault window. Get hit.

I'm not sure where "110% speed Nurse" is coming from, but she does have the ultra rare add-on Matchbox which makes her 105% speed with 1 blink. Are you trying to say that add-on shouldn't become 110% speed?

There is a suggestion on how to nerf Nurse. Which is 110 one blink

Nice animation.
Well now the goalpost will cange from 110% with 1 blink to "110% with 1 worse blink".
Thes nerf nurse crew will not rest until shes simply isnt good anymore, similiar to what happened to HB.

I dont think there is a way to nerf her basekit that will make it more fair. But there are few other things that can make her less too oppressive
- Range addons
- Her blink attack counted as special attack. Exposed perks on her is too much to face.

Yeah, nurse's basekit is fine and whenever I read people suggesting they should make her iri addon basekit + speed at 110 as a nerf I'm thankful they're not actual part of the balancing team, as THAT wouldn't even be a nerf. It would actually put survivors in lose/lose situations in every possible scenario

Nerf nurse ?
Why ?

Hardly anyone wanted Billy nerfed. At the point when he was nerfed the two killers you saw everywhere were 1) spirit 2) Freddy with 4 slowdown perks and 2 slowdown addons. Unsurprisingly survivors were very much focused on those.
I know inane us vs them rants at every possible opportunity is fun and everything but you're letting bhvr off the hook for their ridiculous balance decisions by acting like the survivor main shadow council are the ones really pulling the strings.

Those are the only nerfs she should get other than that she should be good imo

In my opinion there is only 2 ways to nerf Nurse, first is reworking her entirely, second is since she plays by her own rules around Survivors defense tools she should play by her own rules around everything else too, stuff like scratch marks, noise notifications and even perks should have "Nurse only" valuables.

i'd say her strength is her blink efficacy.
when they weaken killers like spirit for example giving her directional audio cue and weakening add-ons(such as removing her green speed shoes and green activation time add-on), they're weakening spirit's phase-walk efficacy. your giving the survivor more counter-play to spirit's ability, therefore spirit is less likely to hit survivors using spirit walk.
The reason why old omega blink nurse add-ons were so strong is because they boosted blink's efficacy. They still technically do. Reduce charge time of blinks increases your odds to hit blinks. Increasing blink movement speed also increases your odds to hit blinks.
So if they ever like "nerf nurse", they'll be attacking her blink efficacy such as increasing charge time needed to blink, reducing m/s during her phase-blink, giving survivors indicators for where she is blinking(similar change to directional audio cue spirit). technically reduce blink charges is also reducing her blink efficacy as well.
If changes like that ever happen to nurse, than Nurse with no longer be strongest killer in the game.
110% m/s 1 blink might be buff to nurse, especially for casual players. they'll be less reliant on blink and be less punishing if they fail blinks. I'd predict average kill-rate increase on that change

I think I got it ... but you know what would work better? One of your cute cartoons :>

Good animation, and I believe it to be the accurate conclusion, that's why some people say to also block blinks without Los, which would make her awful.
But her blink should never be made a special attack, I will die on that hill.

The addon makes her 105 speed. The suggestion said 110 speed
Killer with Power chained into Expose M1 is oppressive in chase (as old DeathSlinger with any Expose perk for example. But Im not saying they're good for 1v4 aspect).
Killer with speed is considered great. Blight for example, only Legion that their speed doesnt down
And there are Killer with both speed + Power chained into Expose M1. Only Spirit & Nurse are blessed with both.

- Kills perk diversity = Always bad
- Has a lot less direct mobility than Blight. Nurse crosses large distances at the same average time taken a 115% does by walking, and has way less opportunities to reposition in chase that also require a delay to charge up unlike Blight’s near-immediate back to back 5 rushes.
- Would be inconsistent with design. Nurse cannot attack with her power. She moves, stops, and attacks. Blight moves and attacks during the move with the power.
- Not a balance issue in the first place. People misattribute mismatched skill matchups as a balance issue. Survivors of the same skill level as the Nurse will do fine regardless, outside of range/3 blinks.

Do we agree we will understand better if there was Spirit encouraging Nurse to blink? T_T
(I do love their drawings as well.)

Jin twerking and slapping her buttock to encourage nurse to blink to that booty :>

- Stealth Killer with Dark Devotion, Insidious? Chainsaw Killer with Expose perk?
- The mobility Blight has isnt instant down with perk. It takes a while for him to recover full 5 token. Nurse recover once every 5sec.
- Based on you line, Nurse should not able to ignore windows and pallets, because thats inconsistent with design. Nurse can instantly attack right out of blink, the "stop" is just the short time for player to decide attacking or chain blink
- Her basekit may be not balance issue. But blink 24m from opposite side of building in 2sec and M1 with Noed / Startruck is another story. Blight's Power into Attack is a special attack, respect pallets & windows and he's still the 2nd strongest Killer. Nurse bypass everything.

Yes.

you seem like you've played a game or two of Nurse; could you care to elaborate on that stance?
I usually always run some kind of M1 perk on her myself, such as Starstruck and maybe Jolt Cola; I love the build diversity that comes with her attacks being basic, but would it not be a good way to tone her down without interfering with her actual power?

best way to nerf her she really doesn't need starstruck or noed

I'm sorry, which stance :(

I'm not sure 4) is correct. I could be off but I think Nurse has one of the higher kill rates at the highest MMR, implying that survivors of equal skill level to a solid Nurse player actually fare a bit worse than against other killers. The "mismatched skill" stat for Nurse is, I think, in the other direction. Nurse's average kill rate across all matches is one of the lowest in the game because she has a steep learning curve and is very unforgiving of mistakes (i.e. if you can't consistently hit most of your Blink attacks she has nothing else going for her.)
So it's definitely possible Nurse is rightfully characterized as one of if not the most effective killers in the game at high skill level.

Awwwww <3

why nurse should not be an m2 killer
0 -
Because it means all you will see is 4 gen slowdown Nurses. Anytime you drop diversity, you're going to bore your players. These people complaining about nurse would sing a different tune if 80% of their games were clown. It's just not good design.

I'm confused as to why suddenly everyone wants nurse nerfed

This is amplified with the killer lag advantage too. Survivors see old information, it's excruciating against The Nurse.
