A twitter account, @dvveet, made a series of tweets compiling evidence, I gathered them here for you all.
Nancy, Steve and the Demopuppy are getting perk charms at their prestige's, but it is their actual perk icons, not the replacement generic ones that replaced them after the chapter left.

The st dlc was spotted on the ps store after 7 months. It was unviewable/delisted before. Though this could just be the ps5 upgrade version for the players who already own the ps4 version
BHVR, Mathieu are following Netflix Geeked and behaviour is following the official stranger things account.
finally, on dbd mobile, some cosmetics were actually buyable again for a short period.

These can be easily faked by using/modifying game assets. Going to need more proof than a screenshot.

there are multiple streamers that have shown that they do in fact have these charms, not just Paulie.

I didn't check streamers/YouTubers about the charms, and I didn't DL the PTB this time, but do the ones you watched owned the ST chapter? Because, for instance, I own it and my perks still look the same (with Nancy's face, Steve's body...). The charms do look the same because they own the chapter or...?
I'm not saying it's not a proof, I'm just curious.
Edit: I mean, if they didn't own the chapter, they won't have the charms... (I just thought about it, LOL.) But I'm still wondering if the charms don't look like this because the perks for the ones who have the DLC didn't change.

For your first question, I do not have any other artistic screenshots of that level unfortunately, (It is something I was planning on doing how ever I just need to some how convince my friends to do it lmao) I do have this though.
For the second question, Otz showed the charms live on stream the day the PTB came out. There was another clip on YouTube I saw in my recommended but can't find the clip anymore.

This is why I don't think the charms mean anything. The charms can only be obtained by those that already bought the dlc and they use the icons that are already in the game.

I literally bought dbd in December on my playstation which was 7 months ago. I actually want to know what people are talking about when they say "it wasn't there 7 months ago." Yes it was, it just said "unpurchaseable"

The perk charms may have been BHVR putting in extra attention to detail.

But for the charms, there's already a screenshot in the thread, and I've watched a few seconds of Paulie's video. But I don't know about them. My ST perks are still Nancy/Steve because I own the DLC. I'm wondering if I wear the charms and show them to someone who doesn't own the DLC, are they gonna see the ST characters or the generic pictures bHVR has done for the ones who don't own the DLC?
Yes, that's why I'm taking this with a grain of salt. I mean, that's a kind of clue, I wanna hope for ST to come back, but I'll wait more evidence or even an official announcement to be excited.
I swear. We need it. I'll spare every shirtless Steve, even if I have to meet a whole squad of them.

The following each other thing is probably the biggest thing. The charms not so much, since those of us who brought the DLC in the past got to keep the initial perk images and these charms are only going to be available to those people.
But I really hope it comes back, I'd love to see Vecna and some new survivors like Robin and Eddie, or even Hopper
