I made a question to EAC about MLGA (The ping function) and here is the answer.
EAC Answar:
"Hello Andreas,
Thank you for your question.
Easy Anti-Cheat flags accounts for use of third-party tools designed to grant unfair in-game advantages over other players. If the program you are using does not grant you any such advantages then your account will not be flagged by Easy Anti-Cheat.
It is always best however, to contact the game developer first if you are unsure whether a certain program or tool is allowed or not.
If you have other questions, let us know.
In the meantime have a fantastic day!"
My quest:
"Hi Sometimes i play against laggy killers so I have searched on Google and i have found the program "MLGA" (Make lobbys great again) to show the ingame ping. Can i get banned for download it and use it? I think i cant get banned but i want to be sure
-Andreas"
So basically they are saying we can't get banned for using the ping function? xD
(btw the devs said i should contact EAC about it and EAC says i should contact DBD devs? xD)

What has been said about this is that EAC can and does ban if they catch you using the program. What BHVR has said is that any EAC bans done by EAC will not be overturned by BHVR under any circumstances.
So you use MLGA and any other program not on their ok list at your own risk, EAC doesn't actively check for it but if it flags the program and you get banned you're screwed.

You won’t get banned for MLGA. Period.0

I just wanted to share it with you guys and say you can use MLGA without getting ban

I guess thats the same potential EAC Update that flags the Windows Command prompt...MLGA will never be bannable because of the way it works. The whole campaign of removing it from the whitelist and causing fear of getting banned was just a fakeout. Not an update to EAC; an update to MLGA.

(btw the devs said i should contact EAC about it and EAC says i should contact DBD devs? xD)Lets be real here, EAC has no tools at all to detect MLGA since it doesnt interfere with the game. If however at some point there will be the possbility to detect it, then you will lose your account instantly and there will be no way getting it back.
BHVR has confirmed that MLGA is not on the whitelist of accepted third party programms anymore, so by theory its usage is bannableAlso, I would like to point out that the fogstreamer jendenise freely admits on using MLGA on stream and even promotes it. So far, she hasnt been banned.

You won't get banned for using MLGA.... I don't believe EAC can even tell if it is running.
It was placed on the "use at your own risk" by BHVR. EAC isn't looking for it, nor do I believe they could even tell if it was running.
MLGA is an open source Java app.... So if you knew a little about programming... You could modify the code, recompile and then EAC would never even see it as MLGA anymore. If EAC was even looking.

EAC can never detect MLGA in its current state, MLGA simply shows what connection your computer is attached too, windows shows the very same information in task manager and EAC just made a Java app to make it easier, it then stores that information and shows you a visual indicator by bringing it to the forefront of the screen, in no way does it interfere with any DBD games files.
So EAC simply cant scan or ban for its use as it falls outside what they are allowed to do without breaching your privacy.

https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/dbd/guides/whitelist/
that's their list of Whitelisted aka approved programs current as of today and they don't actively scan for it however the automated detection system can flag it. If the automated detection system detects it and flags it as a hack it'll ban you.
If that happens EAC won't unban you and BHVR won't either so it's a use at your own risk as both EAC and BHVR have said.
When dedicated servers come out MLGa will be useless since the servers will host all the information not the clients. So at that point MLGA will no longer be able to block anyone let alone tell you you've got someone on your list playing.

There are only two categories.
Allowed programms and "use at own risk" programs that will get you permabanned if detected2 -
