Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Autodidact and Buckle Up buff idea

I think Autodidact is a fun perk that is severely limited by the rng factor of skillcheck so I have an idea on how to buff it

Along with its current effect at the start of thr trial you increase the odds of getting skillcheck while healing by 50%. For every token you receive you reduce the increased skillcheck odds by 10%.

Now Buckle Up is a perk that should definitely be buffed because it's just not useful. I don't think I have seen anyone use this perk at all. So I feel it should be buffed so here is my idea.

Remove the intensity of the survivors aura effect. When you pick a survivor up from the dying state the survivor moves at 150% movement Speed for 2 seconds. They suffer from the exhaustion status effect after. The effect doesn't work if they are already suffering from the exhaustion status effect.

What do you think about these two changes?

I like the autodidact change. Having an increased skill check chance would be a nice buff/QoL change to this perk. It doesn't even have to be that high. You could lower it to 25% and 5% per token and it would still be a nice change.

Not sure about the buckle up one causing exhaustion status effect. That can really screw over your teammate without them necessarily knowing that you are giving them a debuff. Usually I think BHVR tries to prevent your team from hurting you based on perks that are out of your control.

A different idea would be having the survivor recover faster when you are within a certain radius of them. That way if the killer is patrolling nearby and is guarding the slug, they can recover faster and you can swoop in to pick them up easier.
