So my entire rare item and add ons can be completely negated by one Pop Goes The Weasel kick? And you can use Pop up to 11 times? That's pretty damn strong too.

it mathematically is getting nerfed, the only way it can have near its previous potency is if the gen is literally 99%. its effect is basically prorated downward based on how little progress is on the gen, all at a much lower rate than its previous flat amount.
They didn't even remove the time limit nerf they put on it in the past, so you still have to abandon/prolong chases to even use it as well.
