As a Survivor, do you feel threatened by STBFL?
STBFL is one of my favorite perks. I use it pretty consistently, kinda. I only use it on Demo, who I think get's the most value out of it, but I play Demo pretty consistently.
But I've always wondered if Survivor's even find the perk threatening. There isn't a really noticeable effect until around four stacks, at least for me. I run it more-so because I think it's just a fun perk, and on my end it seems to cut down on chases at least somewhat.
Follow up question: If you don't, are you going to find it threatening with the new killer buffs? With STBFL, A killer can have a 50% reduced hit-cooldown (unless I missed something and they nerfed the perk). Combined with the shorter injured sprint-burst, how powerful do you think the perk will be.

Only on killers you can hit the obsession with their power.
Cuz they don't loose stacks

it's very threatening with 115 killers, starting from 4 tokens you can catch up super fast after a hit.
After DH demise and damage boost nerf, this perk will be super strong, maybe even op on some killers.

Only if the killer is camping and has stacks.

Oh I notice it, that and Brutal Strength. I'm always 'oh #########' when I notice.

Alright, that makes sense.

Who do you think it will be OP on? I'm definitely interested.

Fair. That is my least favorite aspect of the perk.

Demogorgon for sure and other killers who can use land powers hits easly.

I had a guy feel threatened enough by it to out themselves as a cheater last second to ensure an escape.
In short, they were outpositioned, I had a good amount of stacks and when I was about to hit them, they just instantly teleported to the exit gate instead.
That funnily enough made me feel a lot better about the game, as I was being utterly destroyed by them, but knowing they had a cheater on their side made everything make a lot more sense. For example how this guy was always in the perfect place at the perfect time and always made the correct calls during chases. They didn't make their cheats obvious until that very last part though.

On Deathslinger, yes. I think he's the killer that gets the most value out of it.

Not threatened, but I do feel some pressure because it makes making distance a lot more complicated if you are hit in the open. Feels similar to being found by a oneshot Killer in the open but with a lot more pressure because you can actually try to get to a safe position but with a much lesser time frame. With a one shot Killer in the open it's just gg.
The new 10 % recovery bonus + STBF + the shorter speed burst upon being hit will make it even harder.

I don't find STBFL to be anywhat problematic. If killer has 8 stacks, then it's pretty much survivors' fault for feeding kiler so many hits. And I don't think I encounter this perk that often to begin with. It certainly feels threatening in tight situations - like when unhooking or opening the door, but if it's just a regular chase - I wouldn't say it has THAT huge of an effect. Unless your teammates already wasted half the pallets - you can almost always get to one. And if not - run a chase perk or two. Overcome pretty much kills any momentum STBFL can give.
There's not that many. Demo and Nemesis are probably the only killers who are capable to do that consistently while also getting value from STBFL. Pig fits, but it's far from easy to hit dash attacks nowadays, unless you're out in the open.
Purely M1 killers benefit from the perk hugely, but they can easily lose their stacks if pressured to hit the obsession. Range and one-shot killers don't even need STBFL to begin with. Deathslinger is an exception, but even he loses stacks from direct hits, like any M1 killer.

I notice it when they have 4 and more stacks, but usually its only pig and demo who use it so I expect it from them even if they dont run it.

STBFL is magic on haggie :)

I'm telling you a lot of survivors don't even realise it's in play and they make dumb plays instead of taking it into consideration.
Multiple games I've had my teammates scold and berate me for not hook diving against a camping killer who has STBFL because I realised it was in play.
It really boils my blood when I decide altruism isn't worth it due to the fact the Killer has a perk that makes trades and camping 10x easier but I'm the bad guy for not playing into it

once I realize the killer has their stacks built up, I definetely go on high alert mode.

A little, yes.

I run object, so I'm almost never not the obsession, so they usually have to go out of there way to keep there stacks and makes it obvious they have it

Sorry thought you were Sluzzy with that avatar.

What are you talking about??

It's a long story sorry 😉

not too sure if it will be op but survivors will have to use their hit speed boost very well to not immediately go down. It will be very rough if they run into a wall for a sec with a 50% cut attack animation

No, unfortunately stbfl is not basekit 8 stacks, which is bad. If it were, would generate salt

I find it very threatening. If I'm the obsession I will always do my best to get hit when the killer is carrying someone to the hook so the killer loses stacks.
