Should the moonlight offerings come back?

I get the problem with them was that the map would be extremely dark and on something like MacMillan estate it was a nightmare but most maps now don't get that much of problem some are bright and everything besides the moonlight offerings do way more then the fog add-ons because the fog add-ons are supposed to help you hide? Doesn't seem like it they barely work. So why not just bring back the moonlight offerings.

A reason why they were disabled was that the Devs were forced to create versions of the Maps with each possible lightning. This is way too much work.

And knowing DBD nowadays, even with Darkest Moonlight the Maps would probably be bright as hell, so it would be a lot of effort for nothing.

No, because it screws with lighting balance.

They can't do it on the new engine as it will mess with the already potato performance of consoles.

It'd be pretty weird now that we have maps with outright sunshine. What would New Moon Eyrie even look like?

I'd be interested in seeing them come back, but also worried where the darkest maps are concerned.

As fun as it would be, the moonlight offerings would not only disrupt map balance and cause performance problems, but I vaguely remember them saying that those offerings considerably and unsustainably extended map development time. So that's a no from me; even though I'm on PC, I don't want people to have their consoles explode, and enjoy more maps... mostly. (*cries in RPD*)
