Can you imagine that DbD just disappeared? What would you play?

I tend to cycle through a bunch of games at one time anyway, so I've got options.

I've been playing a lot of Paladins, Risk of Rain 2, Fortnite, and the Arkham games recently, maybe those.

FFXIV, Monster Hunter Rise/Iceborne, any Souls game, Mario Party, Risk, Touch Grass the Home Game

VHS just hit early access, so that.

I've got plenty of options besides that... but rn I'm excited to try playing as Wart.

For a 4v1 asym? Evil Dead.

In general? Tons of top tier games exist from the last 3 decades. Maybe get back into the FGC with the extra time even if nu Guilty Gear sucks.

Dark Souls 2, which I still have to finish.

I would hire devs to make my own version of DBD, only it won't be busted XD

I cycle through a bunch of games anyway. Recently played Sims 4, Terraria, and I've been going through all the old singleplayer TES games, so I'd probably go back to that.

I just finished the 4 uncharted games. Friends have me playing risk of rain 2. I just downloaded frost punk. Waiting for Warhammer dark tide and the immortal empires patch for Warhammer 3.

I generally cycle three different games depending on what I'm doing; DBD (when I want a quick gaming session), Slay the Spire (when I want to play a game while watching Youtube or something since you don't need any sound for Slay), and whatever single player game I am currently playing when I'm just gaming (currently Life is Strange True Colors).

DBD is basically the only multiplayer game I ever play so it's likely I would just not play multiplayer games again if I lost DBD since I didn't really find Evil Dead did a very good job of scratching that particular itch

Ses of Thieves, Modern Warfare, and For Honor

If Dead by Daylight didn't exist tomorrow...probably continue grinding out Fortnite battle pass. A bunch of my friends play Fortnite and Apex, so might just go back to that full-time. I don't know where I would get my horror fix from...maybe The Forest or the occasional Friday the 13th. I might even start knocking out most of my indie horror games that I've purchased over the years. I play way too much DBD, so at the end of the day I would miss it, but have plenty of other games to play.

So many. My backlog is a mile long, and I blame a lot of that on DbD. It's the only online/multiplayer game I play, and I've always avoided these games because I don't feel like I can ever move on (I am a completionist). Plus DBD is the only game my wife likes to watch me play (she actually asks me to play it), so there's that.

I've got the new Horizon game, a couple Tales games, the Demon's Souls remake, and like another 20-25 games in my digital backlog from sales over the past year or so. Plus I have been wanting to reinstall and re-mod Bethesda/Obsidian Fallout games.

Stellaris, Evil Dead, Warframe, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 would probably be what I play the most. Probably some Apex or Fortnite mixed in there. Still have AC Valhalla to play as well.

In fact, I even think that if DBD collapses, fans of the game will band together to create a similar game but changing the skins and possibly the skills.

I see a similar game with the difference that survivors and killers will be fully customizable.

For example, we can add elements and statuses such as being burned by fire, frozen by ice, etc.

Somewhere I'm sure someone has thought of an asymmetrical game like this, but didn't because they think people won't like it.

I'm here to tell them that we can make this DBD in a more realistic version.

    Prove you selft: toolbox.

    Sprint burst: energy drink.

    Dead hard: Craftable wooden shield.

    Adrenaline: Energy drink.

Generators: Collect batteries to increase the repair gauge.

The exit doors: Having to connect 5 cables to the motors.

Same stuff I'm playing when I'm not playing DBD now.

DBD is a good one shot game experience, when I don't have time to commit to a 4x strategy, or a story rich RPG or MMO, so I'll hit up 1-2 quick games of DBD.

Predator hunting grounds, MWO, plenty of good 1 shot game experiences out there. Nothing wrong with 30 mins on some NES, SNES or N64 emulation either.

If DBD was gone I'd miss it though, especially when I get the hankering to watch some classic 80's slashers, always makes me want to play some DBD and vice versa.

I'd return to playing a bunch of TF2 and various Paradox strategy games I guess. Or well, I'd play them even more as I still play them all alongside DBD.

Power Wash Simulator. I wish I could Power Wash the DBD maps and characters. Maybe there will be a crossover.

    Wow, what would I do?

Well there is Destiny 2 with the gang.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight is on its way.

Classic Wrath of The lich King is on its way.

Hogwarts legacy is on the way.

Slime Rancher 2 (my personal favourite)

    Total Warhammer 3

    DayZ

    Just a few to mention!

Trust me, Dead by Daylight ain't got jack on me, if this game died and vanished I wouldn't miss it for a second.

I already have taken breaks from Dbd in the past for months because how lame and repetitive the gameplay was. I only come back to try the new updates or play the event and then ditch or if I see a fun Build I wanna try out.

I would probably resume Persona 2: Innocent Sin. I took a break from the game because the layout was too confusing, at least Persona 1 had a more traditional dungeon crawler design so I could just map the maps myself, the isometric point of view they went for in that game is pretty disorienting at times. However, I was really like the story.

That or I would play one of Paradox's map painting simulators.

What a strange question I am sure most DBD players have others games to play.

I am currently replaying The Last of Us 2 for the 3rd time on the PS5 for the 60 fps update the game is so gorgeous and a technical masterpiece but story wise it is still a huge disappointment and a big letdown from TLOU 1.

Also replaying Ghost of Tsushima with the 60 fps ps5 upgrade.

For the multiplayers games I mostly spend my time on the beautiful timeless Battlefield 1 cut some heads on Chivalry 2 and play the best MOBA of all time Dota 2 (DOTA 2>LOL).

the new Plague Tale requiem is on the way so I'll be playing it when it comes out.
