Killer matches post update
Don't really seem that different.
Yes thana, plaything, and pentimento on legion and plague feels better, but it was already strong on them.
But corrupt still feels necessary. Playing multiple matches with and without and comparing the early games, it's not even close.
Gen regression perks still feel like a necessity. Playing without still feels like you have very little control or power throughout the match, and makes matches feel like an uphill battle the entire time.
It just shifted some of the necessity of certain perks over to other perks, which is what I figured would happen.
I don't really see the kill rates improving as the main issue killers have is still in an issue, which is map balance and overly safe tiles strung together.
Until that issue is fixed killers are still gonna have the same issues.

I’ve been dominating with pinhead so far. Build is STBFL, Brutal strength, Eruption and call of brine. Chases are very quick and regression from perks plus box makes the game pretty easy
This is not to mention the fact I could run the original pain add on to counter OTR of Dead hard

You don't need all strong perks anymore. Because chases are faster now. Iron Will and Dead Hard made chases so hard for killers but both perks nerfed to ground.
Now i am finishing chases really fast and this gives me chance to pressure on generators.

Gen regression perks still feel like a necessity.oh man, I get very decent results most of the time (before update) and I barely ever run a regression perk I am more into putting pressure by Killing survivors or patrolling until I find a Survivor and depending on the situation abuse altruism and proxy patrol or go for the hunt.
It does fill like you have little control, and every second counts. Not as relaxing as playing Survivor that much I can tell you. But you get used to it.
When I do crazy builds with 4 regression perks - for testing - I notice that yeah, gens are longer up but I have harder time to Kill so ultimately they finish gens. Maps are huge with a ton of pallets, and to kill, you have to chase eventually.

Why would you need to counter dead hard? Who in their right mind would run dead hard lol

Just in case someone is stupid enough to run it over any other exhaustion perk. Still though countering OTR is very powerful plus the extra stall through mending is nice
