No FPS increase?
Why has the game been out for 6 years and there's no way to unlock fps beyond the 60fps cap? It's not like an increase in FPS can give an advantage over console players, so why not unlock it for PC users to get a smoother experience?
As someone who plays competitive shooters at 360hz, being forced back to 60fps seems unnecessary.

You can technically do it manually in the files

I know about the 120 hard cap in the Steam files, but I'm speaking on an official UNLIMITED uncap within the game settings. Not needing to jump through hoops just for 120fps.

I think the reason for not formally introducing these options in the settings (even though I agree they should for player customization and freedom) is because the game's optimization isn't great to begin with. My pc can handle 120 fps on more graphically better games, but DBD usually hits between 80-105 most of the time even if I manually set the cap to 120.

I think what theyre trying to say is consoles apart freom the new playstation and xbox run at less than 60 fps and so it doesnt matter whether or not pc gains more than 60 fps because the difference is massive regardless and it's not a FPS game so every fps is not as impactful
