Don't even try to turn this into us vs them, the people I'm talking about all belong to the same group same people who every patch goes oh this update is so survivor/killer sided I'm leaving the game it's too broken. Like it is beyond me that they don't have any self-awareness doing the things that they themselves complained about the "other side" doing and acting like it's okay. Like stop making things into some kind of complaining competition, the forum is not more for the other sides, trust me when I say this you both whine pretty much the same amount each update if I am being honest. So much so that I honestly feel bad the developers have to deal with this mess each and every update, like yeah there are some issues, but people really need to calm down.
The update while it has its issues is largely taking good steps in a healthy direction, a lot of the most unfair perks and just simply unbalanced perks have been updated and changed making the game a lot fairer. Scream at me all you want, but people using the same perks over and over again is boring and it should be changed like old ruin was before. I see this update as a stepping stone into a generally more balanced game, one that doesn't revolve around the super meta copy paste builds, right now needed basekit killer changes occurred which hasn't happened in years. I have high hopes that the next update will focus on balancing the game moreso making it more fun and enjoyable for everyone, especially with the new additions to the game like the bonuses to matchmaking and the prestige changes allowing long-term and short-term players to not have to spend so much time getting perks they don't want or need on every killer/survivor.
I just wish people would see it better than just oh no it's doomsday the game is going to go under it's all the end, but it's simply a balance update one that needed to come a long time ago, but now that it's here people are upset they can't use the perks they got attached to. The updates for both survivor and killer were actually really nice, as someone who literally only plays solo q, you don't know how much I waited for basekit bt the number of times I got unhooked without bt and just instantly go down were more times than I can count. Then people go "but 5 seconds is not long" did you guys even play the game without basekit bt? It was miserable because you basically had to pray the person unhooking you had bt every time and if they didn't and just unhooked then ran away as the killer chased you there was no getting away. Now the killer changes are great all around they don't help the strongest killers as much besides the speed boost change, but it considerably helps the weaker killers who don't have abilities like anti-loop, teleporting, powers that break pallets/walls out, and just killers who have to rely on m1.
With kill rates going up from the changes, I know for sure they will set their eyes on solo q and help bring it up to strength, people need to stop being so entitled and realize not every patch is going to have the changes they want there will always be patches that focus on one side more than the others. Just have to realize this means the chances the next patch focuses more on issues the other side is dealing with much more. I honestly feel like people forget how the earlier patches were as there were many cases where one side often was the focus clearly, the developers even stated they do try to make changes for both, but there will always be patches where one side seems to have more than the other, but that's just how these kinds of games are, the update changes were likely planned months in advance.

No matter what the devs do they won't please everyone. Many people lack the ability to do things such as 'realizing things' that might happen a few months from now or understand perspectives aside the ones they agree with.
Many threads and themes are just not worth the time and rational thought so just seek out those that are.

The thing is, they promised to look into solo queue before buffing Killers for this exact reason. That's why I'm upset personally. I have no problem with killers recieving buffs, but solo queue players were promised balance that has yet to come. This is not me blaming killers for it, as it's not their fault, but the devs shouldn't have made a promise and get people's hopes up just to go back on that last second.

It will never stop. It's the nature of this game. Not enough people play both sides to understand how everything affects each other and only think about how the game should be according to how they feel.
