killer queues are insanely bad

The situation with the queue for killers is extremely depressing. There are no bonuses per match and the queue time average 7 minutes

There wouldn't be bonuses even if incentives were on. That's not how it works lol Why would you get a bonus

What does anything you said about WoW have to do with the statement I made that incentivizing players to do something they dont like for ingame currency doesnt work? I was using the example of Blizzard when they, in Battle For Azeroth (2018) they introduced a 100% gold increase bonus for the depopulated side (Alliance in this case) if they turned their PvP on and nobody did because extra gold wasnt worth being swarmed by sheer numbers of Hordes.
I was using an example of how a population imbalance problem they tried to fix with
bribesIncentives™ backfired because nobody likes to get punched for money (unless we are talking about an insane amount of money). I dont care what killed PvP and I wasnt discussing it here.By the way I dont know if you played BFA but the open PvP system had nothing to do with vanilla, TBC or WOTLK, they cant compare even if they are technically the same game (which it isnt, current WoW has nothing to do with early WoW) for starters there werent PvP/PvE servers anymore, everyone was pooled in a few megaservers and then each player decided if they wanted to activate PvP or not with the /pvp command and the server instanced every territory to have a set amount of players of each faction max (usually was 50 but it got changed I believe), it wasnt like early WoW where everyone was in the same server and you could potentially have 500 Alliance in Hillsbrad and 3 Hordes, the new system would make 10 separated instances of Hillsbrad each with 50 Alliances and no Hordes except one which would have those 3 getting smashed by 50 enemy players.

I just miss the bonus from BBQ

I played WoW from Vanilla to end of Bfa, im aware of all the changes over the years, i was merely stating the reason why they needed to add an bribe to play was all, at the moment 1 week after a patch the bribe probably won't help people want to play survivor with the current state.
But unlike wow you're not "permanently" locked into a "side" (Bar character transfer for dollars) So long term the bribe will help dbd.
Much like another system in wow which offered a bribe, dungeon finder rewards which did help you find a tank.

I know the reason they needed to add the bribe, I was stating the fact it didnt work at all, it was a complete disaster and once people see queing as Survivor means getting pulverized, tunneled and camped theyll stop doing it too, very few people like to suffer just for a little reward, go outside, wave a 50€ bill and scream "whoever lets me hit him with a baseball bat gets this money" and youll see nobody swarms to take the offer (maybe the cops do shown tho).
You werent either that hard locked in WoW, you could level any character from 1 to raiding level in days and then use the catch up gear mechanics to get decent enough ilvl to start on the other faction without that much hassle, it balances out in this game in the sense you can go play Killer but you actually have to learn how to play the new role while in WoW an human Warrior was essentially the same as an Orc Warrior.

Thing is survivor queues are now quicker regardless of time if day at least for me. Killer used to be much faster during evening/night time but now it’s consistently 7+ minutes
2 -
exactly this it's not worth it at all, I didn't mind dying everygame in solo Q with a 100% bonus, it was cool and killer queue was fine with the bonus, don't tell me they're going to leave it like that for weeks ?
1 -
It's surely just "bad matchmaking" again as shortsighted killers say about terrible SoloQ experience.
Now killers can enjoy their 4Ks. Once in an hour. You want it, you got it.
3 -
Because survivor escape rate is still high. Despite what some people claim.
1 -
of course solo Q escape rate is through the roof right now.......... source ?
3 -
I mean, i could also ask for his source...
I can only show my own matches. Which are almost the same as before the patch.
1 -
Where's the source?

Wheres the source of survivor escape rate being low?
1 -
Yea waiting 5-10 mins for a match just to get into a game with a cheater is honestly not it.

How many hours have you played the game ? You do realize your personal stats probably doesn't reflect average/casual dbd players (vast majority of playerbase), I'm close to 1000 hours playing both roles and i'm still pretty bad/average at survivor and looping

3200 hours. While thats true, people are exagerating on the current situation.

I'm still getting very quick killer queues at night (haven't tried during the day). Usually less than 30 seconds and no more than 2 minutes, which is about how fast they were for me last patch.
Australian servers if that makes a difference.

I logged in to simply test it, in North America (large population), the killer queues in 15+ mins. Survivor queues instant.
People here are learning not to play an unwinnable, unplayable game mode.

That's weird. I just timed my most recent queue - 48 seconds.

EU here, all fine.

I read it perfectly fine before responding.

Disingenuous as always, I see.
Streaming on Thursday night and off-stream recording matches last night, my killer queues weren't instant like they always were before, but the time I waited was around the 2 1/2 minute mark, give or take. Last night, as it got later in the evening, my queue times pushed back to under a minute again -- not instant, but at no point since the update have I seen 15+ minute queues.
I know mornings have always had longer killer queues and quicker survivor ones, so since you said you "logged in to simply test it", I did the same. Two matches just now, and I timed both waits with my phone.
4 1/2 minutes for both of those matches, give or take a couple of seconds. Not anywhere close to 15. And I live in North America too -- shocking, I know.
For the record, I recorded the 2nd match, including the lobby wait time from the moment I hit ready, so I actually have video proof of said wait time (the video wouldn't prove the time of day, but the lobby time easily could be verified, as I'm talking non-stop about the update during it, and it would obviously not be an edit of any type to make it look shorter).
I play the game 25-30 hours a week, split between both roles, for two years now. Before the update and since the update, I have never seen a 15 minute killer queue (but I HAVE seen survivor queues approaching that number, though not since crossplay was introduced and not since the update, obviously). NEVER. I'm almost 100% sure 5 minutes or so has been the MAX over that time. If you live in a different part of the world, I'll grant that you might have longer times than I do, but if you're claiming 15+ killer queues for you today in the same general region as I am when I literally loaded up after you posted this and got games in consistent times that aren't close to your claims, then I'm calling BS.

EU player here. At this time, I usually get a match instantly or 1-2 minutes at the absolute maximum. Stopped queuing after 15 minutes.

My qtimes got longer too, from instant to 1min. -_-

killer queues still bad
i would like to play killer because playing survivor solo is no longer fun

Your experience isn't the default, either, fam. Your arguments are disingenuous. Killers are still hard stacking slowdowns, hard camping, and hard tunneling, and with longer gens, teammates just can't punish this as well. Talking about percentile buffs is literally not relevant to this conversation.
