My Approach to Balance

When it come to the balance, it seems no one can win. Its either the killers buffs destroy solos or survivors get something they can abuse or one of them gets nerfed to the ground. So my goal for this post is to try to see if it's possible for both sides to get something for the sake of balance.

Starting with swf vs killers
Killers will now have a 10% increase pick up, vault and break action speed when against a 4 man swf. However when its a 3 or 2 swf it would be 5% when in a chase with someone that is in one. Otherwise it would be base speed for solos.

swf's will lose the ability to see what perks and add-ons the killer has when they die. Also they can no longer see what effects they are inflected with. In return when survivors work together they can earn 50% more blood points in total to help with the grind.

Solo survivors are a bit harder to balance because too much given information can be unfair.
So heres the following things that I think can work

  • Only solos auras can be hidden when inside a locker
  • The unhook action is 5% faster
  • Base kindred, however other survivors can't see the killer aura unless the killer is within 16meters for 10secs
  • Helping other non swf survivors will grant 50% more points earned in the benevolent category
  • Lastly pips can earn you up to 400 iridescent shards for playing well

Let me know what you guys think, I tired my best to make the buffs and nerfs not too strong and can't be abused to easily. If you think these ideas don't work tell me why.

    doesn't fix issue, where a killer can face 4 decisives, 4 borrowed times, 4 adrenalines, 4 flashlights/insta heals, along the most toxic play styles known to man.

    pretty sure the 10%boost in certain killer actions and the lack of information in regards to negative affects on survivor would aid against those 4xDS and so on. 

    fix them? no, but it would add some balance to it.

    obviously this needs some tweaking but I do like where the OP is going with this.
