Genrushing perks are new meta

So I came across this video last night

And I have decided to try it


Built to last + 32 charge tool box with brand new part and 12 charges, overzealous and inner healing, I did not run prove because I needed at least one chase perk so I just equipped Windows of opportunity


And...it works, actually it works too good, I have played couple of matches today and most of them all 5 gens were done and I actually died because of noed twice lmao, even against forever legion build I managed 3e in solo queue


Actually the only time everyone died is when we were playing against blight with all slowdown and Huntress on midwitch where person gave up on first hook and we still did 4 gens


I am not sure how I feel about it, being able to hunt for totems and then watch that beautiful gen speed has been kinda relaxing, but basically this is the new meta

  • just run and pre-drop everything comp style and the rest of the team can use these kind of builds to finish the gens fast, the last person hooked will die since the killers will camp and 2/3 people can escape


I have been having more fun with this at least but basically this playstyle forces me not to want to get chased so that's kinda sad, but I guess it's adapt or die

    Of course it works. There are also other builds that work and make the game fun. Even for solos.

    The gen slowdown meta isn´t as oppresive as people claim. There was even a streamer who made a side by side comparison and its... well people are simply overreacting.

    Prove Thyself is very good AND you still receive bonus bps. Meta-Perk even more than before the patch.
