Trade Street, Withered Isles. map concept

I recreated a map concept using the sims 4 graphics engine (I think I'm the only person in the entire community who literally "creates maps" xd).

Trade Street, Withered Islands (Kingdom of the Garden of Joy Map): Located in the center of Fold Island, Otto wanted to continue to recreate the social and economic order of trade already known, despite the island being self-sustaining, all these assets They had to be distributed in this way, although these shops were also created with the intention of keeping the population busy and entertained to prevent them from having bad thoughts.

The custom objects were thanks to:

Tomen: RumorukaRaizon

Jigsaw Box: Mimoto-sims

Realistic generator: kaguya-fox

hook, locker and pallet: sims4ssiat.

The mint colored door would represent the destructible walls

And the white wooden window and the semi yellow wall, windows

I hope you like it and forgive the spam of images (remember that most pallets, motors, hooks, lockers, windows are only possible spawns of them)

I like this! It seems to have enough differences where it can be quickly differentiated from Haddonfield, and the design of some of the structures can have a lot of variability in spawns. The only thing that I think might be a little too strong at a first glance is the yellow window on the outdoor staircase of the clothing shop, but that could be fixed by simply removing the Breakable Wall. All in all, this was pretty well done, and it's especially refreshing to see a map concept.

I certainly get the feeling when people react to my own custom designs! It’s very unique seeing a map concept, too, since there just aren’t a lot of non-technical avenues for drafting such. You can’t quite convey the sense of a map in just description, so having these prototypes really helps bring the custom alive.

It’s also clear how much detail you accounted for. There are very few dead-zones that don’t offer a Totem spawn, and I can see the areas that Pallets/Hooks/Windows could spawn in even outside of the ones you drafted, which adds a lot of variety to tiles that would otherwise fall into the trap of having a set play style like Dead Dawg Saloon. Variety in tiles is something even BHVR can struggle with at times, so it’s especially impressive for a solo effort (assumingly)!

I really like this! I expected a lot more comments complaining about how it is basically old Haddonfield. This map is clearly not old Haddonfield. There's only one two-storey building, and it only has about two drop-offs, and neither is particularly safe.

I think my biggest concern is the volume of unsafe pallet spawns on the map, especially indoors. It looks to me like you go indoors to basically die, lol.

I really like the stage set piece. It doesn't look too safe to my untrained eye, but it doesn't have to be. It just has to be a fun addition. I feel like I would want to play it a bit like the gallows on Dead Dawg. Get that generator finished ASAP, and really only feel safe doing so if I have Balanced Landing.

    Overall, very cool!
