No survivor will realisticaly get nowhere close to 40k bps in a game

Survivors almost never got 30kbps in the past,40k might even be impossible.

When I play good and have a good game, that's very rarely when you play soloq.

You still get less than 30k bps even if you escape, the games just go too fast and the survivor bp gain from objectives is too litle to get more than 30k bps ever.

Yeah, but I am getting more BP on average during games where I am forced to do 3-5 gens or getting tunneled excessively. So while I have not reached anywhere near 40k, I am getting more than I used to.

    1. I got 36K as survivor
    2. How the hell is it possible for the killer to max out the sacrifice category?

I did see a survivor hit 40k, but I was farming with them. 1 survivor had dc'ed one killed themselves on hook at 4 gens so i farmed with the other two. The amount of pallet stuns/saves they got, along with cleansing totems and doing 4 gens, no there is no way you're hitting that in a normal game unless BHVR increases the points for survivor actions. A lot.

Bp gains as a whole, both before and after this patch, needed raised for survivors.

They didn't scale the BP gain to the new cap, which I think is stupid. There's no way for Killer and Survivor to get anywhere close to full 40K.

You forgot skill checks and Prove Thyself. Maxing out Lightbringer points is usually the first thing that happens.

Instead of raising the category cap they should have removed them entirely, while still keeping the match cap. The survival category in particular doesn't have enough actions that'll give you a good amount of points, whereas you can easily get a bunch of objective points if you work on gens with others.

The stars would have to perfectly align but it is possible to max out sacrifice. Although I think it's only possible with a mori.

If you bring a mori, hook the survivors 8 times, mori them, and at least 2 of those hooks happen during egc you get this:

Caught!: 200 points per survivor = 800 pts

Entity Summoned: 200 points per survivor = 800 pts

Hooked: 500 points per hook = 4,000 pts

Kill: 1,000 points per kill = 4,000 pts

Late Hook: 250 points per hook during egc = 500 pts

This comes up to a grand total of 10,100 pts

If you want, i can post some screenshots with me getting between 33 and 36k. My record since the change was 38k, but sadly, i didnt make a ascreenshot from them. And all those were non-farm-games, and in a lot i got more bp than the killer.

Please stop playing Thana Legion, you're just going to single handedly kill Killer queue times.

I think the category caps are fine.

In a lot of my games, I will either max out Objective or Boldness depending on whether I'm getting chased or not. Doing gens with Prove Thyself maxes out Objective category really quickly, and a lot of players are using it at the moment.

I don't really have problems with boldness category when the killer is taking chase with me and the game plays out normally (no one gets tunnelled/camped). I've even filled up my chase category 1/3 to 1/2 of the way from one chase.

When I run my end game build, which includes No One Left Behind, you can easily get your altruism points maxed out from that perk.

Yes, maxing out categories is easier with some perks, but it isn't impossible to max out a category, and realistically, that's the point of them being raised. You get an extra 2k bp that you would have missed out on before the patch. It would be a nice QoL change for them to relook at how many points certain actions gave, but it isn't a necessary thing.

I also don't have this problem that many people seem to complain about with not getting a lot of bp. I've gotten over 25k bp in a lot of games where I died but my team were still fighting and trying until the end. It's slightly on the survivor for not getting points in all categories. If you want bp, then sometimes you have to go out of your way to take chase. (Sometimes you can't if you are getting tunnelled.)
