A new asymmetrical horror game released on July 20th and no one informed me?? The new DbD-killer!

it’s more cutesy and not really that fleshed out; small maps, 3 min matches, and not that much going on in chases. But I haven’t tried it out myself, just saw a few clips.

Basically, 3v1, monster captures survivors, those get thrown into a cage in the middle. Free survivors can open the cage. Monster wins when all 3 are captured. Survivors win when after 3 min at least one isn’t captured.

Also there are Bots in this game so you can actually play solo/training/with less than 4 players!

(there is a free demo, i guess i will try it out soon.. can’t be worse than VHS I suppose….)

    Update (even though probably no one is interested):

    played the demo (tutorial plus 2 ‚online‘ matches)

    it’s really cute, but not much depth to it. Chases are boring and the animations kinda annoying already. But… that’s what I expected? Matchmaking didn’t find other players and filled with bots after a set time. Only seen one monster and didn’t even look into their abilities..

    could be fun with 3 friends I guess. Especially if you want to play asymm game but the others aren’t much into DbD (as that is not really great for casual newbies, at all…) or gaming in general.
