Can't Hear Sound of Narrator?

I'm playing on the Windows edition of DBD (Xbox Game Pass), and I can't hear any of the narrations for the tomes. Idk how to fix this, as I don't have this problem on the Steam version of DBD

I've tried verifying and repairing, and even straight up uninstalling and redownloading the game, but it doesn't seem to work. I just can't hear the narrations of the tomes on the Windows version. IDK what else to do, or if I'm missing something/haven't tried something yet.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or at the very least, having similar problems so I know I'm not alone on this? 😓
