Should I do the Orange Glyph Challenge?
Is it worth it right now to do it? I have some medical history that, from what people are saying about it, could be bad for me. So, again...Is it worth it?

It's really, really annoying, the visual effect is just a mild annoyance but the sound effect is ######### grating and it doesn't go away even after you have hooked 6 survivors. It's bottled tinnitus if I could describe it one way.

Does playing Legion with Feral Recharge add-ons help?

I really don't know, sorry. I completed the challenge first try with Oni against survivors that were not particularly great.

oh, okay. I just know that Feral Frenzy decreases sense output or something (lol, idk how to describe it, look at fandom if you must) so just thought I'd ask.

Random theory: this challenge is the reason Killers get alot of buff.

I will be honest other than the visual i barely noticed it but thats just me, I'd say try it and if its too much just let the match go.

It's very ez, got it first try without much effort. the visual and sound effects were noticeable at first, but they quickly blend in, I didn't even realize when it was gone

it's just a big circle around the edge of the screen. I just ignored it after a few seconds. I was playing nemesis in cornfield, which in my opinion is the most visually challenging map, I played chill all game, everyone got 2 hooks, still ez 4k at 3 gen

I actually did this challenge thinking it was a Red Glyph challenge. Where you to collect 6 glyphs. I was like a this is a chill challenge
I but when I collect the glyphs I was like. Huh? But I shake it off cuz I thought it was a bug.š
At the end screen I saw I completed the challenge. Again. Huh? That is when I actually read the challenge.
I was lucky doe. Got a indoor map. Suv`s not doing gens. Killing Them self on hook. I think I almost didn't get the 6 hooks recover.
All can say is try you best and good luck.

Don't do the challenge, the sound & visual effects are nauseating.
I expected something like -1% movement speed or a 1s flashlight blind after hitting a survivor but not audial molestation.

If you have a condition, skip it. I will admit it did not bother me in the slightest, but it is not worth the risk if you might have a reaction. I believe they are looking into it, so might as well wait for the updated version as it is better to be safe than sorry.

I wonder if we'll see this effect again.
They seem to use these things to test out new mechanics, like when we first got Yellow Glyphs, then a couple months later Sadako came out with Merciless Storm.

I mean, we haven't gotten anything to replicate Blue/Green/White glyphs yet so I really hope we don't suddenly get one for Orange.

The noise was a little annoying, didn't bother me too much. I did the challenge first try with Wraith so the visual effect is what annoyed me the most. I'm usually fine with the field of view in this game, but having the challenge on wraith was a bad idea. It gave me tunnel vision a little bit and it was actually mildly irritating to deal with. The speed and reduced FOV messed with my head. A normal killer and you should be fine if you're okay with the FOV being restrictive.

I have more problems with the flashlight blind/strobing animations in terms of nausea and headaches, wish that animation would be changed to a blacked out screen. They probably won't change it until a streamer has a seizure or something. I did the orange glyph challenge on Blight with shadowborn, which I always have on to deal with motion sickness. The orange lethal rush effect was in the same area as the glyph effect so I didn't notice the swirling very much and I always play with the sound low so didn't notice the noise either. I'd definitely recommend trying shadowborn if you have to do the challenge.
