Streamers have stopped playing Solo Q and the Devs are still silent why? Devs need to respond!

Making information up to be dramatic is the very foundation of most posts here. ... No?

thana provided 20 seconds, now it provides 25. gens got increased by 10 seconds, thana by 5. everyone understands thana has a slightly larger impact now due to gen times being increased, that's not profound.

You are trying to attribute a base kit change as a buff to Thana.
That is not how buffs work.
1 -
..... because it's Legion.

You cant keep make a chase around 1-2 titles for too long in exchange to keep yourself away from other teammate. How can I know Im running away from a teammate just to lead killer to another teammate?

Which streamers, exactly?
None of the ones I watch have, and they are still melting face.
The goal of the patch was to raise kill rates. Relax, adapt, accept that you won't win quite as often now.
That's good. I like CoH, Lithe, OTR, WoO.

Like @LordOfYggdrasil said, 10 of those 15 are from base gen time increase and not thana itself.

please… with all the gen popping / meme perks that slow down gens.
this has got to stop. Reverse the generator time.
dear god… 1 minute and 30 seconds for a generator, uuuuggghhhh

They are probably "monitoring the situation closely, because our fan's satisfaction is the most important thing to us!" Maybe they'll give us a new anti-tunneling perk in 2027.

By your illogical delusions pre nerf Dead Hard had zero effect on generator speed and the present Dead Hard has no effect either.
Somehow that's not how buffs and nerfs work for Killer but thats how they work for Survivor?
I cannot fathom how you could be that stupid.

Yes you are going to sometimes run into someone by accident. But you can usually get a rough idea where people are most of the time.
For example, if you are repairing a gen on one side of the map and you can’t see anyone nearby, maybe stay on that side. Alternatively if you all of you were repairing the same gen and Legion starts to chase you with Frenzy, run as far as you can. Or if he starts chasing someone else run in the opposite direction to them so he can’t get both of you.
You can get tell most of the time the general area most of your teammates are in just by looking around or using the aura reading you get when downed. And on most maps you can see gens easily from a distance, whether it be the gen itself or the big lights on top, so avoid those unless you know no one is there or if you have no where else to run.
If Legion’s Frenzy has ended than it’s not that bad to be near someone while you are being chased. Sure he might leave you to go Frenzy them, but you’re most likely already in Deep Wound that you can just 99 your mend and then take over your teammates gen while they distract Legion and then finish mending when Frenzy ends.
Bond and Kindred are also really good perks to help you know where teammates are.

With the DH nerf and gens taking a bit longer. The main issue for solo q ends up being that the game has become even more team dependent. The streamers I have watched rage mostly at their teammates.
For example, before patch you could carry a team by doing 3 gens but now that adds a minimum of 30 seconds. You could extend chase an extra 30 to 60 seconds by DH for distance to a pallet or window. Losing out on 30 to 60 seconds in a game like this is substantial.
I feel what needs to be done is kindred base kit without the killer aura there, revert DS and then add some amount of time (10, 20, 30 seconds) to first hook to struggle phase. With gens taking 10 seconds longer it escentives camping. This makes camping on first hook much more punishable.

Aah yes. The great old excuse.. "Streamers". How about people start to use their own heads and begin to make their own decisions instead always following streamers like flock as if they're profets or something.
"Because Streamer X said this thing, it must be true. Huurrrr"
And I'm pretty sure the only reason why many of them are doing this, is because they're afraid of losing viewers, because they can't meme and bully killers anymore same way they used to... You know. The only content they produced for cheap laughs.
Great example is this one streamer, who's name I shall not say, but he is from somewhere down under and is pretty popular streamer. He has been known for tanking his MMR just to get cheap laughs for his videos by bullying low rank killers.

Solo q itself really isn't an issue, solo q players are.

Correct, pre-Nerf Dead Hard had zero effect on generator speed.

What was the problem with Dead Hard then if it had zero effect on generator speed?

It cheated you out of downs in chases you won. It was bad on every level from a game design standpoint. It rewarded failure, and punished a player even when they played correctly.
This has nothing to do with generator speeds.
A generator took 80 seconds to complete when no one ran Dead Hard.
A generator took 80 seconds to complete when someone did run Dead Hard.
At no point did the perk magically alter the number of seconds to completion.

I am a streamer (without audience) and I play soloQ.

You have more posts than I do lmao
At least try to make sense.

Bs too. I watch a lot of dbd killer streamers. They still 4k each map ez. With them being high mmr, i assume the survivors they go against are also. But watching it, how often is it already a 4k at 3/4 gens left?
0 -
Agreed! Granted I curse at my teammates sometimes when they make knuckleheaded plays, but overall it's refreshing to have to actually mind the killer.

If you make basekit changes, there are indirect buffs to perks
brutal strength prime example
The overall point is that thana gained more efficacy with the increased gen times. This is a buff to not just thana but all gen slowdown penalty related perks.
Obviously not just thana, it applies to all perks that apply a % based debuff. Dying Light, Gift of pain and so on.

Actually a lot of streamers have to play Survivor now because Killer queues are so long they cant afford to wait 5-7 minutes for the queue, 1 minute for ready ups, 30 seconds of offering burning screen and then 1 minute loading to play a match where 50% of times someone will DC or suicide on first hook.
Viewers looking at 7-9 minutes of nothing only to watch a pointless mach half of the time is not viable for anyone except already established big name streamers.
That being said, I know some are not having much fun having to play Solo because they cant afford to lose viewers, I remember some days ago this one person looking exhasperated while playing Solo but there was no choice, it was that or 9 minutes queues.

This always happens when killer queues get long, that's why a lot of streamers defended the status quo despite everyone being miserable. All they care about is faster queues, if all the the killers who quit started playing again queue times would go up.

Sorry, just not worth it.
