certain killers addons leave no variety to many players. a suggestion to the devs.
certain killers right now that you play/play against you will see the same addons with a lack of variety. the main killers ill discuss here are freddy and spirit. this also applies to pyramid and demo to name a few more that my post also applies to.
freddy used to have some addons you can mix and match before they reworked him to have more useless addons. the only viable addons left are nancys masterpiece and drawing (for teleport cooldown speed.) Anything other then that is just not worth it. the lack of power or strength or even just fun meme addons do not exist with freddy. there are so many ideas the devs can do with his power in terms of addons to make him more interesting. what about an iridescent to let him use pallets and snares? just an idea, dont have to use that idea
the second is spirit. after removing the green addons she used to have all you will see now is either yellow speed and duration or mother daughter ring and another purple. there is no middle ground. either meh or super strong. removing greens made spirit players feel trapped when looking for middle ground, they dont want to get stomped using yellows and they dont want to make everyone else have no fun with the strongest stuff possible. i guarantee if you remove the useless addons you added less people will use ring and back up slightly to the old greens for middle ground. the only green addon that is slightly good is rusty flute to try combat her awful power recovery. please add greens back. if that means you remove mother daughter ring ill be happy with that just give us more variety and allow us to feel less gatekept.
again same thing applies to other killers such as pyramid (only range is good rest is useless and demo with his best addons being yellow/brown)

Well I’ve been saying for a long time that MDR and DCB should be removed because they’re unhealthy, and also a ton of Spirit’s other add ons are incredibly slept on.

DCB is unhealthy. dont need to listen or whatever. id say ring is fine, maybe? i would gladly lose MDR and DCB for old greens to return

I don’t like the gameplay that revolves around that add on combination. It forces you to play in a way that teaches bad habits down the line, and you won’t be able to play without them if you rely on it too much. That’s why I want both removed.
