Today's Solo Queue was fun.
So that may have been a bit of a lie.
Played 10 matches of Solo Queue today after not playing for a little bit-- was on sort of a Divinity rebound. And.. it probably went about how you expect.
I escaped 3 times, mostly due to the killer being assassinated by MMR, and only in 4 games did more than one of us get out. Got two thana Plague/Legions, got camped by the Legion in question (after someone DC'd 10 seconds in), got hard tunneled by a Trapper and Spirit, and got two nurses.
You can see how that went.

This is normal or actually pretty good for a huge amount of players. Hence the constant -1000+ player drop daily and -30% decrease in players compared to June (the biggest % drop in players in the past 3 years).

Divinity is a good game

I do feel eventually lower MMR killers will suffer by being put against more experienced survivors. Their MMR will rise faster because they can camp a couple if kills. While other survivors MMR will drop due to being camped by other killers or dying due to incompetent teammates.
Already see it happening as killers get mad at me for looping them for minutes, and then they slug me and leave me to bleed out because they're frustrated. And then I get frustrated with constantly losing.

Welcome to the new reality. I stopped playing solo entirely for the exact same reason and now stomping everyone as killer.

My friend played four matches of solo survivor today and quit. He had one good team of the four. In one of the matches, someone got hit 5 seconds in, then motioned to Mikey "come on, come on," so Mikey put them on a hook and they suicided. I probably don't have to specify that match was no fun.
In the fourth match, my friend was the only one to get hooked. Feng Min farmed him, made sure he got speared by Deathslinger straight off the hook so he went right back on. Then, after someone else saved him, Feng Min 99%'ed the exit gate, tried to body block my friend from opening it, and nearly got my friend killed as she tried really really hard to body block him from escaping. He was rightfully pissed enough after that match that he just stopped playing. It's not cute or funny to be body blocked in the exit gate when injured and on death hook against a Deathslinger.
Playing survivor is a frustrating unfun experience. If the killer fails to tunnel you out, your teammates try their damndest to help him by suiciding or sandbagging or just not working on gens. I hope my friend is done for a while, I'd really rather play anything else. Or nothing else, I'd be fine staring at a blank wall if that were the only other option.
